I love the game overall but.... THE GYRO USAGE IS EVIL! Whoever had that idea needs to be kicked in the face I hated the special stages is was awful. the normal game and online is great though.

Lifes like a game there are those who are good at it and those who need some practice.

Has anyone played both the Wii U and 3DS versions? Can you give your opinions on both versions?

Alright, I'm really torn on this:

On one hand, there are all these people (critics and players alike) complaining about the countless flaws and problems of this game; on the other, I had a blast with demo, but don't know if this fun lasts throughout the game.

I found the Special Stages ok when sitting in my computer chair, I could just spin around when I needed to change direction!

When it comes to the game, it's like most of the other Sonic games, there's a couple quirks to it that may put off some but it's rather good. At least there is no Were-hog this time, the levels aren't tedious, just a bit wonky/frustrating at times. Also, make sure you turn off the 3D for the cutscenes, to avoid a blurry pixelated mess.

From what most people have said, the issues don't start appearing until the third or fourth zone.

So I'm stuck on the desert ruins Zone 3 level, I can get past the moving belt type part and the part where you ride platforms while the statue head shoots at you, but I'm stuck on the third part where your on a round world and you have to beat a whole bunch of those worm things. I try doing the stun kick and then targeting the yellow body ring, but they won't die. I beat those worm from other levels, but can't seem to beat these ones. Any suggestions?

Your homing attack has a multi charge. This means when your homing trigger charges for about three times, you jump and it will show red and that's how you defeat the worms. These are easily the worst enemies in this game honestly.

I've enjoyed the Demo quite a lot ; don't know if the game is inconsistent on later worlds but i'm willing to give it a try

Yeah I too enjoyed the demo quite a bit! It was really, really fun! I've never really played Sonic games very much, but this one had me hooked (for only two levels)! I'm willing to give it a go. The cutscenes were really badly compressed, though, and there's really no good reason for that, with so many other things on the 3DS having perfectly clear prerendered videos. But the cutscenes aren't everything, so I'm willing to look past that. Everything else I've seen looks like fun so I'll give it a go!

I bought Legend of Zelda: ALBW instead because Zelda > Sonic but I'll get Lost World 3DS whenever I can.

I can do a targeted attack. but can't figure out more then that, does that mean that I have to stun a worm and then target three things in a row like a blue bee. pots and then a worm? I can kill a couple of worms but then theres always a one that I keep chasing (he burrows underground from hole to hole) and I can't seem to kill them all.

Never mind I figured it out, you have to stun it and then jump in place to target ir three times before the actual targeting. Kind of annoying, you would think there would be something about that in the rainbow question marks.

I really wonder if the chaos emeralds are required to get to the final boss?

I finished the game and it just unlocks Super Sonic... the only final boss is eggman and you dont need the chaos emeralds to fight him, just get to Lava Mountain Boss

Played the demos for these games. I really the demo levels for the 3DS version, but I looked at the others and I don't really like them as much. And the Wii U version looks okay, but not great. I don't really think either version is worth buying unless I can get them cheap.

Starting a brand new playthrough of this game again. Im happy that I'm in the minority that loves this game even though it could have spent longer in development to trim the un-great parts from it. I really prefer the control of Sonic in this one to the Wii U and the platforming is just a bit more intuitive I think as well compared to the Wii U.

Anyone else still coming back to this game?

Does this game have less levels than the Wii U version?

I don't think it has the DLC

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.

So in other words it does have at least 32 non-bonus, non-Special Stage levels, then? (Though I could take or leave Hidden World—28 would be fine.) If that's the case, I may end up buying this game.
