If this is true, then this would probably be one of the best things they did since their 2011 controversies.

Let me geuss, Megaman Legends 3's cancellation or capcom cutting nintendo wii/3ds support? I don't see it happening because anything that says "capcom", comes in 2013 & is not monster hunter. I say capcom support outside of monster hunter is pretty much 0%.

yes, i would like to see this happen. but the way capcom have been behaving lately, i wouldn`t put too much hope into this project being released.

Yeah, even if it was true though capcom would release this game on PSN, XBLA, PC, mobile devices & the 3ds e-shop. But not the wii u e-shop. Capcom just give the wii u SSFIV:AE for wii u as a download please because I'm not playing the crappy 3ds version!

If it does happen, there will probably be some controversy about it anyways.

For what it's worth, Capcom seems to be supporting Nintendo in Japan.

fixed that for you! In my book monster hunter sells terribly outside of japan! What annoys me is capcom complained about how weak the wii was & the one time nintendo fixes all the problems capcom sits there & says: uhhhhhhhh.

I really don't understand where you're coming from.

Capcom has made quite a few games for Wii. Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, Zack and Wiki, Okami, and a few Resident Evil games. Among others.

As for the Wii U, it takes time to put games on it. It has been out for 1 month. Capcom has an HD Monster Hunter game already. They'll put more stuff on it later.

Capcom has supported the 3DS more than nearly every developer out there. They have a pretty much perfect port of Super Street Fighter IV, as well as what is easily the best Resident Evil game this year with Resident Evil: Revelations. Then there's Mercs 3D, and although that wasn't the best game ever, it was quite fun and provided quite a bit of content if you were willing to buy it at half off, which is possible now.

If we look outside of the U.S., as well as into the future, it also looks pretty good. You've got EX Troopers, a reinvisioning of the Lost Planet Franchise, and Project X Zone (which also has Sega and Namco, but Capcom had a heavy hand in it). Then there's a Monster Hunter game already out and one coming on the way. Not to mention Ace Attorney 5 and Ace Attorney vs. Proffesor Layton. The only thing they didn't do was release Mega Man Legends 3.

Also, 4 Monster Hunter games have come out in the U.S. They don't pull in huge numbers, but they sell well enough to make a profit.

@moomoo So? ALL those games you mentioned are 3ds games plus SSFIV:3D sucks. I HATE portable support over & over & over again & not supporting wii u. Lastly monster hunter sells well enough because of JAPAN SALES ONLY! They should have put SSF4:AE as a download only in the vc arcade &+5 later on wii u instead!
Oh & P.S. Wii u support sucks because of wii (the worst nintendo system minus the virtual boy)

The Wii U has been out for one month. How many games are they supposed to have at launch?

More than 1 for 2013 thats for sure! You see, nintendo revealed the wii u & sent out dev kits in 2011 you think capcom would have made a game at launch like the 3ds but no, all they just did was shove "dissapointment" statements down our throats!

This man doesn't like portable support. So clearly, the great support Capcom has given the 3DS doesn't count.
