Plus, I think it has a serious hatred of Bidoofs! Every time it meets one it always gets excited etc.

It's like it thinks to itself "kill it, Kill It! KILL IT!"

It's all down to taste and preference when it comes to Xerneas and Yveltal. For instance, you couldn't trade me every other pokemon for my Yveltal. I know it's only make-beleive/virtual but after having it for this long, defeating everything in front of us, and spending time with it on Pokemon-Amie to the point where it avoids most attacks because it "reads my mind" or how it looks at me "with trusting eyes" and how it now 'shrugs off' things like poison and paralysis to avoid "worrying Michael". I could never get rid of it.

I'll trade you my shiny Magkarp. :3

Has anyone else noticed how, once it says "the opposing .... fainted", if you rub the bottom screen a virtual hand will 'pet' your Pokemon?

Well it wouldn't be a OHKO.. and then again Yveltal will just heal with oblivion wing.. and probably even outspeed. Yveltal walls Xerneas

What? One Moon Blast from a Xerneas is a OHKO. In addition to that, Xerneas has Geomancy, one of the best boosting moves in the game. Xerneas has complete dominance over Yveltal.

Unless you got power herb, geomancy is useless as yveltal, if invested in speed, will outspeed xerneas before you even get the boost. Yveltal can also heal up while xerneas can't other than horn leech.

Yveltal also carries phantom force which would do plenty of damage as geomancy boosts spd not defense.

Completely false.

First of all, both Xerneas and and Yveltal have the same base speed, so it's all based on luck depending on who goes first as there will be a speed tie if both are fully invested in speed. Hell, both have the same exact base stats.

Second of all, Oblivion Wing does AT MOST (with a Life Orb) about 52% to Xerneas. The recovery will not even be useful because Xerneas just needs one, non boosted Moon Blast to OHKO Yveltal at full health.

And Phantom Force is a bad option. Using it wont even do too much, especially if you're fully invested in Special Attack. On top of that, it's a free turn to let the opponent switch in on you or use a boosting move.

I ain't going to pro-long an arguement that's hi-jacking this thread. I'm going to end this rediculous topic here with simply put it depends on how you use them/items held/EVs invested.. if used correctly it goes either way. However, IMO, even tho there is NO guarenteed answer as to who will win it depends on the player, I vote Yveltal. IF I lose to an xerneas with Yveltal then the player on the other side has the right investments and had a better strategy.. same goes vice versa. I've used Yveltal only a couple times (like 3) and murdered Xerneas in two of the random matchups.
