1.Mutant mudds
2.cave story
3.Kirby's adventure
4.Ketzal's corridors
5(don't have either but will go with nano assault ex)
6.zen pinball
7.Sakura samurai
8.Denpa men
1. Gunman Clive: Cheaper and faster-paced of the two derivatives :/
2. Cave Story Good to get at least one out of the way, but come the f**k on this already got the DSiWare award.
3. Mighty Switch Force!
4. Ketzal's Corridors Crashmo is better, why didn't you choose that?
5. Nano Assault EX Longer, more content, better graphics
6. Zen Pinball 3D Voting for the underdog, I know NS will win
7. Dillon's Rolling Western Better-looking, more original, longer game
8. The DENPA Men: They Came by Wave
1. Gunman Clive
2. Cave Story (tough, but I barely liked CS more)
3. Mighty Switch Force! (tough, but I went with MSF!, because it's newer)
4. Pushmo (only one of the two I played)
5. Liberation Maiden
6. NightSky
7. Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword
8. Crimson Shroud (really tough match up for me)
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
Pushmo recieved 15 noms, Crashmo only recieved 4. It would have been a huge middle finger to pretty much everyone here to disregard their choice, just because Crashmo improved the formula.

1. Neither - Both suck, so many better things that could have been in instead, but oh well.
2. VVVVVV - This would probably be close once Cave Story actually releases in the PAL regions, but because they're being so slow with it, I'll be voting against it by default, plus VVVVVV is a pretty good game.
3. Mighty Switch Force! - Probably my favourite eShop title, and the 3D Classics are more like Virtual Console anyway so I argue they shouldn't have been allowed.
4. Pullblox - Pretty straight forward one, SpeedThru is good but Pullblox is better.
5. Nano Assault EX - Haven't even played it yet, but I'm confident it'll be better than Liberation Maiden which left me a bit disappointed.
6. Zen Pinball 3D - My most played eShop game, and NightSky is terribly boring.
7. Dillon's Rolling Western - Hana Samurai is fun but a bit too short, I feel like I got more out of Dillon's Rolling Western.
8. Crimson Shroud - It's a shame one of these will be eliminated so early, as they're two of the best on the eShop, but I prefer Crimson Shroud out of the two.
I'm sad at the lack of Tokyo Crash Mobs, that game's amazing bizarreness alone should warrant a place on the list.
Also, if it had taken place just a week later, then I'd probably be saying HarmoKnight for my favourite overall.

Both should have been there, it's different enough to warrant a spot on the list.
Should have taken on Kirby's Adventure due to it being more like Virtual Console, or out of the games that were in the tie break, NightSky, because it sucks.

I sort of prefer the VGM tournament's style so we can campaign and all that, but this is fine too
1. Gunman Clive - it's the one with the most fair difficulty. Mutant Mudds stops being fun towards the end, unless you're a certain type of person.
2. VVVVVV - Still haven't played Cave Story, and probably never will
3. Mighty Switch Force - C'mon, guys.
4. Ketzal's Corridors - This one is more fun.
5. Nano Assault EX - Sigh - they're both really good! I'm just voting for content and the online leaderboards here.
6. NightSky
7. Dillon's Rolling Western - I enjoyed this more than Sakura Samurai. Mostly because you guys hyped Sakura Samurai so much that by the time it arrived in PAL regions, it wasn't fun.
8. Crimson Shroud - Why make these two fight on the first round?
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
1. Mutant Mudds - I love the simple charm and control of this game coupled with its challenging platforming while avoiding enemies. My second favorite download off of the eShop, with 51 hours spent with the title mainly replaying as Max's Grandma.
4. Pushmo - A bit disappointing at first, I've enjoyed this game enough to sink in close to 10 hours. I dislike the game's challenge themes, but love the game's mural themes.
5. Nano Assault EX - A game that I just noticed today, and will likely download soon, Nano Assault EX looks like an excellent shooter that I feel will stick with me longer than the short-lived runs of Liberation Maiden.

Now really guys... if NightSky loses in THE FIRST ROUND, you should feel bad.
More like the four people who nominated it should feel bad for it making it this far.
I think...
THAT YOU'RE CRAZY. Because NightSky is very easily the best eShop game.
I honestly fail to see what people like so much about it.
I've tried a couple of times to get into it, but I feel like I'm just forcing myself to play it and I never really enjoy it.
Ah well, everyone has different tastes.
1. Gunman Clive
2. Cave Story
3. Not voting as I never played either

1. Gunman Clive - Mutant mudds while fun was pretty average at least GC was cheap.
2. Cave Story - Didn't think much for VVVVVV
3. Mighty Switch Force - Both games are fun but I'd give the edge to MSF for being a more curent release with solid spritework and a great soundtrack.
4. Ketzal's Corridors - I find myself going back to KC more often than pushmo.
5. Nano Assault EX - Liberation Maiden was disappointing.
6. Zen Pinball 3D - I liked Nightsky for its abstract style and laidback ost, but I enjoyed Zen Pinball because I am a fan for pinball.
7. Dillon's Rolling Western - Tough choice but, Dillon had more to offer me and I really love the Character design of Dillon.
8. Crimson Shroud - Haven't played Denpa(tried the demo though) but I'd still give Crimson Shroud the vote.

Also, to confront the misinformed idea that "3D Classics are more like VC", that has been brought up:
VC games are emulations that are exact replicas of the original. the 3D Classics line are remakes that run on the 3DS itself (with extra features not found in the original releases).
VC games are labelled with their system of origin (GB, GBC, ect). the 3D Classics line are labelled as "3DS Download Only" (just like, well, any other eShop only title).
On NOJ's website (as well as the other Nintendo sites), 3DS Downloads & VC games are kept in different lists (with the 3D Classics line being found in the 3DS Download section).
In the eShop itself, the 3D Classics line can not be found (& have never been) featured in the Virtual Console tab.
It's because of these clearly evident facts, that I believe them to be eligible here. I don't think the 8-bit look they retain overrides Nintendo's own official classifications, and how the games operate on a technical level.
