Club nintendo is offering 100 coins for anyone who downloads the game, and 50 coins for people who just purchace the physical copy. I don't know how I feel about downloading the full game, since i'm old school and like having the physical game in my library. Who all is downloading this game?

I definitely want a physical copy. Not ready to give up cartridges yet!

Physical for me!! My SD card would be filled if I bought this along with all my other games on my card.
Favorite Games: Sonic CD, Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland, and Call of Duty: Black Ops, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, and Mega Man 5. My Backlog
Sonic is AMAZING!! Nintendo is AMAZING!! I AM AMAZING!!
I don't think that there is any excitement waiting for a game to download, especially a full sized game. Theres allways something special about getting a brand new sealed copy of a game on launch date!

Thats probably part of the direct download angle. To achieve more sales through impulse. I can remember the countless titles I purchaced on my Wii through impulse shopping.

Physical.
Clearly Nintendo is trying to bribe us into accepting full-price digital sales (we pay the same price, but Nintendo keeps the money that would've gone to retailers and manufacturing).
If I'm paying $40 either way, I want my piece of plastic.
Physical although the 100 coins is tempting, but my son and I share 3DS games I dont want to have to give him my 3DS every time he wants to play the game. Also I want to save the room on my SD card for VC and DSiware games I dont need a game that I can buy in a cartridge from hogging up the space.
If I had a coin for every time I've answered this question, I'd probably already have a million.
Anyway;
Physical copy, of course.
I love having the actual box (especially when it's gold) and cartridge.
Also, that way I can save the space on my SD card for eShop games.
Oh wow 100 Coins Nintendo!
I wonder what I can get on CubNintendo......oh wait nothing, they never have anything good.
Atless with a physical copy, I can make some money back.
And if I ever lose my 3DS console, thats $40 bucks I'm not getting back.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
Downloading. The coins are nice but here's the main reason why:
Nintendo systems are generally backwards compatible 1 generation. However, so far, digital purchases have been transferrable, and systems can generally software-emulate any systems more than 1 generation back. There's a decent chance that if I go digital, I won't have any need to purchase this game again when I upgrade to the 5DS (or whatever). It will just transfer up indefinitely. Now, I don't know for sure if that will happen, but I can be pretty certain the 3DS cart won't be good after 2 gens, so why not go digital?
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
Physical indefinitely. I want to save room for DLC.
