More and more, I realize that if the eShop wants to succeed it needs more content. If they want to slowly roll out the VC games that's fine, but surely Nintendo could hold an internal contest for making awesome $1.99 games in a week or less so they can get more 3D games on the eShop. With no nostalgia factor for me, I'm having a hard time getting into monochrome Game Boy games (meanwhile, I've been playing the heck out of the NES Ambassador games), and most of the DSiWare games that I'm interested in are more expensive ones I don't have time to play right now.

The two best ways to drive sales of digital content are to A) have the content to begin with; and B) have sales to help get the games out there and spread word of mouth about the gems. A good demo can also do a lot, but for some reason Nintendo keeps saying "they're coming" when they could already be here if they would stop sitting on their hands.

If you find yourself spiritually drifting (as I was for far too many years), remember that Jesus can and will walk across the water to reach you and bring you back to shore.

If the non-gaming apps end up being stuff like Flashlight or the clocks and calculators DSiWare is infamous for, then no. As for Google Docs, I can't imagine slowly hunting and pecking with a stylus when most business phones come with physical keyboards. Even the iPod touch has a decent touchscreen keyboard, even though I've heard the auto-correct can be annoying.

Exactly the 3DS is a portable videogame system if I see another Flashlight app im going to have a seizure.

Lifes like a game there are those who are good at it and those who need some practice.

The eShop just needs more original content period. Nintendo Video is a joke, and "Nintendo Show 3D" is boring beyond relief. The Pokedex 3D app is cool, but there isn't much to do other than look at pretty 3D Pokemon. 3D Classics is a joke, you can get most of those games on the Wii's Virtual Console for half the price.

At least it has Netflix right?

Come on Nintendo. DSiWare isn't going to satisfy everyone. Where's all the 3DS software?
