I don't understand. Do they mean local wireless play? I thought these were single player only. How did they, or do they use wi-fi? Does it let you do the puzzles and stories as 2 player?

Edit: If it's wi-fi internet, then I assume the function is dead.

@WoomyNNYes Yes, it was part of the Nintendo WFC service that was closed in 2014.

I remember this is one of the games some people complained about the "DLC" merely time-unlocking content already on the game.
"But at least it was free." was the one complaint, when putting it right next to other games that charged to unlock on-media content.

@KingMike : A lot of DLC merely unlocks content built in via software updates as well, which is also very annoying, as the games are gobbling up extra space for content that one may not intend to buy/use.

The upcoming Sunbreak expansion for Monster Hunter Rise is perhaps one of the more extreme examples, requiring a massive 13GB download whether you pay the exorbitant amount for the expansion or not. Considering how bloody expensive (and large) it is, it really should have been a standalone game.
