Yep, it's a transfer, not a copy. You must choose wisely, in the case of each app, between keeping it on the DSi and moving it over... because once done, I don't believe it can be undone.

@abgar - The update's at 6:00 PM PST, so if you're in Cali, you'll get it at 6 PM.

For the suggestions of transferring to SD card first, I don't think it will work. I'm pretty sure that the file on the SD card is encrypted in a way that links it to the hardware and account, but I may be wrong.

Either way, I'm willing to give it a go when I do my transfer later on. I'll report back.

i live in mexican south california under mexican northen california under US california, it somehow counts as a different time zone even though we are in the same slice of the world.

Well, wait till it's evening in PST. Which can be 4-7PM which = 7-10PM EST. It's in that time frame.

hm i only have like 2 dsiware games where that kinda sucks but the rest are more like minigames or puzzlers like tetris it doesnt matter

@Hyper_Knuckles - You can transfer games individually, at least according to the source on the first post.

I can now confirm that abgar's proposed SD card idea does not work. The system doesn't recognize it at all.
