Topic: Can you transfer data from new 3ds to a normal 3ds?

I've been using my new3ds for a long time but I don't use it for the "new" software and stuff like that and I've been thinking about getting a 2ds but I want to transfer my data help plz THANKS

I can't see why it shouldn't work. But, I would never go from N3DS to 2DS - so that has never been an issue.

No, you can't do a system transfer from a "new" system to any older model.

Couldn't you just save all your 3DS data on an SD card and put it in the 2DS?

...No, that will only work for photos and music.

Everything else will be completely ignored by the 2ds. That if it doesn't try to format it.

no you can't. you have to do the transfer in order to retain your NNID and save files. otherwise you will lose all of your games.
