If you go to Nintendo Power's poll to vote for submitting results to their mag (http://www.nintendopower.com/polls/), one of the titles that they are listing in the future for the 3DS from Square-enix is an un-announced Dragon Quest game! I have been thinking the very same thing as you have: I would love to have the whole collection of Dragon Quest on Nintendo's consoles. I also agree with you that Dragon Quest X should just release on the 3DS instead of wii. Look at Dragon Quest IX, its done great on the DS!

Ha ha! Oh I know! I do have to agree she has an identity crisis but she still has the "Aya look" that I remember years and years ago.

Don't mind PSP ports, but not the exclusional shovelware you got on that unsuccessful console.

Except LittleBigPlanet is a Sony IP so it's very unlikely it'd show up on 3DS. It'd be nice, though.

Personally I'd be very happy with some PSP ports - I actually really enjoyed Crush, and I can see it messing with my mind in proper 3D.

I'd love to see Lumines on 3DS, too. Please.

Completely agree. They can keep this one on the PSP, they completely ruined the game and the character. And Final Fantasy was original on Nintendo platforms, so it's not like that would be "stealing" from Sony. The series has always been very multiplatform, I don't think there's a single system that hasn't had some kind of Final Fantasy game.

But I do think the OP is correct, especially since Sony's new NGP is almost as powerful as the PS3. Developers used the PSP as a way to release games like Valkyria Chronicles or Dissidia which would take too much time and money to develop for the PS3, I see development for all these games shifting over to 3DS.

Capcom have also said it's unlikely Monster Hunter Freedom 3 will see a release in the West "at least on the PSP". Could be that they intend to wait for the NGP, but that would be like releasing a PS2 game for the PS3. I think it's much more likely we'll see an English 3DS port of it.

Burnout PSP?

..HOWEVER, except for Tekken, I wouldn't b chuffed THAT much if they never turned up on the 3DS tbh. I wouldn't say no to remastered Nintendo classics though

If Capcom let's me finally play Darkstalkers, I'll be very happy. Wouldn't mind trying Level-5's Jeanne d'Arc, either. I know Sony published it, but I don't know if that means it's theirs or not.

I'm sure this will happen too. It's easy money for devs/publishers, especially in the early years when there's not a whole lot new that's fully finished and ready for release. Cross your fingers it's the games you've been wanting to play that get ported.

Monster Hunter 3DS!

That chart actually scared me. iPod/iPhone App Store and their .99 cent (often times) shovelware starting to cut into Nintendo's considerable piece of the pie! If that chart starts to turn more olive green than blue, hello video game crash of the 2010s!

I hope we do get a ton. That'll save me the trouble of buying a PSP. I seriously want the Final Fantasy and Monster Hunter games – FF4:CC and MHFU to be precise.

@BetelgeuseWC77: As an owner of an iPad, I can safely say there are a TON of good games on the App Store. It annoys me the way people refuse to look past Angry Birds, in the same way people refused to look past Wii Sports. You can't get this or this on the Wii, let alone DS. I'd love to see iOS games getting released on 3DSWare.

I can so see MGS portable Ops and MGS Peace Walker Ports because that would make the whole Trilogy be portable and on 3DS

If it means ports of the PSP Metal Gear games then I'm all for it.

This, and hopefully a Monster Hunter game or two.
