Anyone else experiencing a drop in the number of Bells paid for beetles?

I was getting 1350 for Horned Dynastids, but now the price is 1000.
There's a special item that changes daily that will sell more than usual. It was probably that for the day. Check the sign outside next to the door about that.

Hope so. I only noticed it because I missed clicking on it the first time from my pocket and had one in there randomly. Went back and she only offered 1,000 for it. I'm on the island now so I'll see what happens later and post. I've been collecting/selling a TON of beetles, like making two trips per night, so I don't know if that makes a difference or not. It also seems like my overall Bell haul has gotten lower, around 100K (but then again half my haul is always the cheaper Dyanstids).

If you want more bells, spend a little more and catch stag beetles on the banana trees. Scare away the dynastid and fruit beetles so the rarer beetles respawn.
I come away with 200,000 bells on average per day. Visiting the island more than once a day decreases the chance of rare bugs to spawn (only for that day, of course), FYI.

Good tip, didn't know that! I was noticing more than just Dynastids today, my first trip.
I've found that sharks are much, much more common in this entry, as I keep coming in to retail with soaking wet pockets filled with all 3 kinds of sharks, red snappers, and barred knife jaws.

Anybody know how to make custom designs for a flag? I want to design one really badly.
If you go into the Ables sisters shop and make a custom design, you can use it for the flag as long as you've saved it.
No need to use the able sisters, just make one in your designs inventory (the tab with the pencil) and give it to your secretary. (via her desk, not yours).
