Anyone have this game and understand how the ranking works in career? I’ve beat 1st place in all of the first group of levels but my rank is 19 and it wants rank 87 to unlock the next level. What am I missing?

@NinChocolate that number (87) is unrelated to your rank. However, I remember being confused at the same point in the game. You need to move down on the map, not to the right. Extra hint: use your stylus good luck!

@Paperboy thanks I was a bit confused. The touch scroll is unexpected

@NinChocolate I think you just have to race and Keep racing again to earn points to surpass the other racers. This mean racing tracks multiple times. You will eventually move up the rankings board. Just keep winning. It takes quite a while to start moving up.

Personally I'm very let down by this game. Although the graphics are cool the racing is missing something. The opponents feel like they are on rails with an ocasional lane change and the track editor isn't really an editor at all. Its just adjusting sliders adding cars, curves, straight aways, lanes, cops etc etc. You don't get to make your own tracks. I would say wait on a sale for this game. 4.99 would have been a better price as Outrun is only 5.99 and I assure you this ain't no Outrun. I would rate it a 5.5 or 6. It does have some fun with missions of collecting items along the track and actually throwing a race and taking 3rd for the mob for more money than a race pays if you win.

Still playing 3DS but will have Switch soon for multiplayer with friends. I miss you guys! Adam, Joni, Gavin and the rest of the Blue Rogues from the Phantasy Star Zero Days.

Bit of a tip for making quick money:

The Desert stage to the far east of the map is the easiest stage in the game, bar the first five or so tracks. There are police in this stage, but they're easily avoided, as the road is wide and almost completely traffic free.
