I has recently attempted to swap the shell casing of my original 3ds, and have put it back together but now the 3ds turns on for a few seconds, gray light on bottom screen, then turns off. It charges fine just won’t turn on

If the abrupt turn off happens when you press home/start, reseating the battery/making sure it's in correctly sorted mine

@T_A_P it’s the screen ribbon cable. It’s come off.

@1UP_MARIO Yeah, it’s very loose, would you recommend i get a new one?

@T_A_P could you reopen your shell and reattach the ribbon cable to its place and close and secure the cable in. Small screw driver should help or tweezers. Once it’s secure in place, it should power on as normal.

@1UP_MARIO The cable is bent near the pins, so i think i’m going to need to get a new one. I reattached and still nothing
