It's hard to complain about a competent, playable baseball game with no performance issues that costs just 99 cents. WBSC eBaseball: Power Pros is the latest title in Konami's long-running Powerful Pro Baseball series, which is mostly exclusive to Japan. Its heritage really shows here, as a lot of the menus and customization have not made a perfect transition into English.
There is a basic but adequate team logo and uniform creator, but actually creating a custom roster of players eludes me. It seems players must choose from a fairly limited and somewhat baffling list of existing players to make their team.
Gameplay is just fine; it's baseball, it's playable, and it works.
Again, the price tag makes me forgive most of this game's shortcomings. Recommended to baseball fans who want to try something new.
