I don't really like visual novels all that much. Quarantine Circular is sort of adjacent to that genre, though it's more in the similar "text adventure" category, albeit with fully-rendered graphics, so less imagination is required. That said, there is a lot of reading and not too much interaction, though you will need to make a number of choices as you advance through the story.
All I will say about the narrative is that it takes place in a near-future sci-fi setting that felt very different when I first played it in 2019 than it would today, years after a real-life global pandemic. It has a few twists and surprises, and I was satisfied with the conclusion overall.
You don't have to have played Subsurface Circular, an earlier game by the same developer, to enjoy Quarantine Circular. It does help a bit, and there are a couple of references / easter eggs you'll miss otherwise.
If you're looking for something you can complete in a single session of just a couple hours, I can handily recommend Quarantine Circular, especially at its unbeatable price.

Quarantine Circular is a Graphic Adventure / Visual Novel game about an interrogation of an alien life form in the midst of a global pandemic. I believe that this game has a well-told story that makes it well worth playing despite its short length and the confusion caused by its character-swapping narrative.
