I love Breakout and other brick-breaker games, like Arkanoid, so I was delighted to try this new version. It's exactly what it says on the tin: the original Breakout, in a clean, "HD-vector" aesthetic with the same neon-drenched colors as other games in Atari's Recharged series. There are a handful of gameplay options, and online leaderboards. That's it.
If all you want is a convenient way to play Breakout, here you go. Nowadays, you might be better off trying Breakout Beyond, which has a lot more depth at a similar price point.
