I love Arkanoid and other ball-and-paddle games, such as Breakout. I had high expectations for Arkanoid: Eternal Battle, but it's a bit of a letdown.
The good:
- Clean, simple visuals
- A decent single-player take on classic Arkanoid
- The original arcade Arkanoid game is included

The not-so-good:
- The original arcade Arkanoid game can only be played in a weird "3D arcade machine" display, with no full-screen options available
- I never once found a human opponent in the online multiplayer mode

Recommended if you really love Arkanoid, but much easier to recommend if it's on a deep discount sale, as it is right now (February 2025) for just $2. Wishlist it and get it cheap!
