Terra Cresta is a perfectly fine arcade 1980s vertically-scrolling shoot-'em-up. It's the sequel to Moon Cresta, and is somewhat similar but with superior graphics. Like the first Cresta game, its gimmick is allowing you to gradually upgrade your fighter-spacecraft with parts you acquire as you advance through the game.
The good:
- Decent graphics, music, and sound design
- Good variety and challenge

The meh:
- Not particularly memorable or innovative

You might like Terra Cresta if you also enjoy games such as Xevious, Star Force, or Halley's Comet.
