WolfRamHeart commented on Wii U To Get An "Exclusive" Rayman Legends Dem...:

I was willing to pay full price for this game if they just kept the Wii U version's original release schedule but now I'll pick this up when it hits $20 or less. Given the new release date that Ubisoft has chosen for this game which will have it competing with the fall's biggest game releases it shouldn't take long for it to drop. I don't like the delay but at least my wallet will be happy. :D

WolfRamHeart commented on Rayman Legends No Longer a Wii U Exclusive, De...:

I don't really mind that they decided to release this game on other platforms such as the Xbox 360 and PS3. They want to maximize their profits which is understandable but to delay the Wii U version which is likely already finished is complete bull crap. They should have released the Wii U version on time thus giving Nintendo temporary exclusivity and release the ports later. I will still pick up the Wii U version but now I am waiting for it to hit the bargain bins. Ubisoft doesn't deserve my money for pulling a peepee move like this.

Done. I enjoyed voicing my opinions about the system. My sentence was basically: The Wii U is an impressive system and a very fun experience but there are still a few things that need improvement before it can reach its full potential.

I am definitely picking up the last issue. That cover really is the perfect tribute. I am very sad to see it go. I remember getting that first issue in the mail when I was just a kid. I was a subscriber for a number of years. I even got a free game from them(Dragon Warrior NES). It was a fantastic magazine with tons of information in the age before the internet. They will be greatly missed but I won't ever forget them. Thanks for the memories Nintendo Power.

Great review Joe. Even though I already own the 3DS version I am still planning on buying this game on the Wii U. The Wii U seems to be off to a good start with this lineup of downloadable games. I hope that Nintendo can keep these quality titles coming to eShop.

Great review Ron. I really enjoy Shin'en's games and I loved Nano Assault on the 3DS. They always seem to know how to get the most out of Nintendo's hardware. I plan on picking this one up very soon.

I really like the looks of this game. The review makes it sound like a lot of fun. I would have picked it up already but the price is a bit steep and the lack on single-player content. If only it featured online multiplayer. I might pick it up if it ever goes on sale.

WolfRamHeart commented on Watch: First US Wii U Advert Appears:

I'm sorry but that was a really terrible ad. It totally misses the mark by not informing consumers that this is a brand new console. I imagine that a lot of people are going to see this commercial and think that the Wii U is just a add-on tablet controller for the existing Wii system.

I am perfectly fine with this. I already have a few of those launch titles on pre-order. Considering that I have to budget between games for the Wii U and other gaming systems my wallet certainly appreciates not being overwhelmed all at once. :D

The demo was okay but it didn't really convince me that it was a must-buy. The mixed reviews and the lukewarm reception from the public pretty much killed any desire I had to pick this up. Well, at least at full price. I may be willing to give it a chance but only if I can find it dirt cheap.

WolfRamHeart commented on Nintendo Confirms Wii U Will Be Sold At A Loss:

At first I considered the Wii U too expensive but then I remembered that I paid $500 for my PS3 and $400 for my Xbox 360. Compared to that and the fact that it is a new console which has a few games that I am interested in I think that the price is acceptable. I don't even want to think about how expensive the Xbox 720 and PS4 are going to be because I know they aren't going to be cheap.

WolfRamHeart commented on Pachter Pours Scorn Over Wii U Sales Projections:

There are all types of "fanboys" out there. Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, Apple, PC, etc. It is funny how some people use that word as if it only applies to Nintendo fans. People are going to like what they like. No point trying to change their opinion when it doesn't match your own. Instead try to focus on what makes you happy.

Thanks for the review Morgan. I tried the demo for this game and I really enjoyed it. I didn't think that I would but it was pretty fun. I will probably pick this up when I have some extra cash.

I am strongly considering getting this. I could pick it up for my PS3 but I am interested in trying out the new features in the Armored Edition. Not sure if I will be getting it on launch day because I already have quite a few games on pre-order.

I want to get the Wii U version but I am not sure how it is going to turn out. Junction Point is not handling the Wii U version, Heavy Iron Studios is developing it. Heavy Iron has made game versions of Disney/Pixar movies such as The Incredibles, Wall-E and Up. I have the PS3 version on pre-order so I may just stick with that but I really would like to hear more information about the Wii U version.

WolfRamHeart commented on Wii U Memory Can be Easily Expanded With USB H...:

Well, I guess that the storage issue isn't so bad when you look at it that way. I had to buy a 500GB hard drive for my PS3 a while back. I can get myself a 1TB hard drive for the Wii U and it will actually cost less than what I ended up paying for the 32GB memory card that I bought for my PS Vita. :D

WolfRamHeart commented on Wii U Price And Release Dates Confirmed:

I am excited and I would like to get one but I think it is too expensive for what it offers. It should have been $300 max for the Deluxe bundle. Nintendo Land does not look like it will be worth the $60 price tag that Nintendo is trying to sell it for separately and a 32GB hard drive in this day in age is a joke. I will probably end up getting one but I think that Nintendo is going to have a hard time trying to convince people outside of the Nintendo-faithful to pony up the cash for this system. For Nintendo's sake I hope that I am wrong.

WolfRamHeart commented on Rumour: Nintendo Land May Not be Bundled With ...:

I think that if Nintendo bundled this game with the Wii U system it would be a smart move for them. Selling Nintendo Land separately is a bit risky considering the mixed reactions that it has been getting since it was unveiled at E3. Sure the game looks like it could be fun but I'm not sure if people are willing to shell out money for another mini-game collection. Nintendo should just bite the bullet and bundle this game with the Wii U so they can get it into as many homes as possible. I already have a few games pre-ordered for the Wii U and those should keep me busy for a while. If Nintendo does plan on selling Nintendo Land as a stand-alone game then I will pass on it for a later date or at least until it gets a price reduction.

WolfRamHeart commented on Bethesda Yet to Decide on Support for Wii U:

As much as I love Skyrim I made the mistake of purchasing it on the PS3. I had my reservations and I wish that I would have gotten it on the 360 instead. Skyrim may have won numerous Game of the Year awards but most of us PS3 owners feel that we got a raw deal with the version that we got. It is playable but there has been numerous problems that I have had to deal with from day one. I am just tired of companies getting away with releasing unfinished products with the intent of patching them later. I am even hearing that the Dawnguard expansion that 360 owners got may not even come to the PS3 which is really disappointing. If Bethesda cannot handle developing for the PS3 then I am skeptical that they would be able to get their games running properly on the Wii U. I would like to see them try though. Despite what Bethesda seems to think, I do believe that there is indeed a market for their games with Nintendo fans.

WolfRamHeart commented on Tekken Producer: Working With Nintendo Offers ...:

I think that I am one of the few people out there that has never played a Tekken game before. This wasn't on my radar before but after watching a gameplay video of the 360 version on YouTube I am strongly considering picking this up. If I do get it then I am going to pick it up for the Wii U. I just hope that the Wii U version is at least as good as the 360 and PS3 versions. I'm hoping for some really cool Nintendo-related features in this game.

WolfRamHeart commented on Metroid Blast Joins Nintendo Land Roster:

Hmm, interesting. It looks like this could be fun but I'm still not entirely impressed by what I have seen of Nintendo Land. I would still prefer it if Nintendo makes this a pack-in game for the Wii U. A Metroid-themed level does seem pretty cool though.

WolfRamHeart commented on Nintendo Power Magazine Will End With December...:

Very sad news indeed. I grew up reading Nintendo Power magazine. I remember getting the very first issue in the mail. I was a subscriber for a good number of years. I even got that free copy of Dragon Warrior from them. I knew that this day would come eventually but it still doesn't make it any easier having to say goodbye. Thank you for everything that you have given us over the years. You will soon be gone but I will certainly not forget you. I will be picking up all the remaining issues until the end. I wish the entire Nintendo Power staff nothing but the best and hope that they will be prosperous in all their future endeavors.

Well, nothing for me this week. I'm waiting for Newegg to ship out my copy of New Super Mario Bros 2 so I probably won't get it until next week. At least my copy of The Last Story is on its way to me so I'll be playing that real soon.

WolfRamHeart commented on New Super Mario Bros. 2 Will Cost £39.99 to D...:

If they were selling the digital download version at the same price as the retail copy then I can understand for the simple reason of not wanting to upset the brick and mortar stores. If they really intend on selling it at a higher price than retail then I find it highly unlikely that this strategy will be successful for Nintendo. I prefer owning a physical copy over digital and I'm sure that plenty of people also feel the same way. I enjoy building up my game collection and if I no longer want the game I still have the option of selling it to make some money back.
