I do hate how the community believes every review, good and bad. This is much more enjoyable for a shmup fan than the score would indicate. He didn't note that the "orbs" add to your score multiplier, nor that you have three weapons to choose from, and assumes it will be quick work to unlock all the levels, which makes me wonder how much he played this. If you had a tough time, just be upfront about it; only jerks will mock you for it and eff them anyway. But we the readers should be informed completely of your experience, if it was an incomplete experience.
Couldn't help but be bothered that every hidden pathway and those Lab-rooms just ended in money/jewels. The game gives them no value, so they feel worthless.
But, more over, I consider Wario Land 3 one of the best of all time, so anything is gonna disappoint.
Until Nintendo shows that they support limited time price drops of games on their existing downloadable games services, then I'm not excited about a download only system from Nintendo. All 4 of the 3DS games I own were bought new, but at less than full price thanks to sales and preorder credits. A download only format would allow them to sell 3DS games at a lower cost than the MSRP is now, but still make the same amount of profit per unit sold, sure, but would it be a full $10 drop for every game? I don't know, but it still remains that I wouldn't have bought one of the games I have at even $30.

Love this game.
Will buy again on the 3DS VC.
Honest comment.

Well, you can make a Mario stage. The problem is, you won't.
Thought this was going to get a higher score. Oh well, loving it.

@James
I'm trying to put this in a way that doesn't come off rude; can't do it: he can tell me if he missed something I spoke about, not you.

I should add, I think the game IS tough myself, which is why I added the "quick work" bit. Shmup fans want challenging shmups, though.

Dillon's Rolling Western is easily my favorite thing on offer yet.

So at the moment, 16 games planned for the launch window that I'm very interested in. Doesn't sound bad at all.

Most of these will be "converted 3D" I assume. I appreciate trying, but it looks so bizarre.

"Nintendo have decided"?
Right. I'm sure the owners of the games (Namco Bandai) have no say in how their games are priced on the eShop.
That makes sense.

I hope that's a bad joke.

It does have online leaderboards.

So easily worth $30 if you haven't spent considerable time with the 4 older games before. Grab it now while the sale is still going on.
