@Late I want to buy a game and play it - also I want to play it 10 or 20 years later. When they shut down the online for Monster Hunter Tri only a year after it was released - that boiled my gizzard. But I would still get Dragon Quest 7 on the 3DS if they put it out here.

Why not put some bandaids on your fingers and maybe someone else's prescription glasses on while you're at it - can they simulate some crying kids in the background? Seriously - when they put buttons over the actual buttons - have they ever played a video game? The most important aspect of getting good at a game is getting in tune with the controller - and putting buttons over buttons just makes the control experience TERRIBLE. OK Coffee Has Kicked In.

@HarryK I just want to be able to race with a Wii Mote - but switch the gamepad to viewing the race map - while the TV shows me racing. So I can look down and see where everyone is. That would be so nice!! Right now, if you use the wiimote, you can't hit buttons on the gamepad. I just want to be able to use both screens like in Pikmin 3.

So in Mario Kart Wii, I used the Dolphin bike and I SLICED through water levels - and in Mario Kart 8 I use the cloud glider and I feel like I am lighter in the air - but it doesn't always have an advantage - I'm doing my best to describe things that aren't quite in line with this. Like is there a better cart for sand? Etc

@Th3PlaidHatter Yes, they chose the game for strategic reasons. Their strategy was ill-planned. As game developers, they should have been able to look at it from a Sims perspective and see that their bread and butter (customers like Me) would already have all of these games. Maybe they should have said Gold gets these choices, but Platinum gets to choose anything. Since the Platinum members have more games that they want, let them choose more freely. I'm already platinum again for this year mind you, and I'm not sure what I have to look forward to for next year.

So wait, with my digital promotion I can get Game and Wario - then when the $3 bumps back into my account - I can pick up one of those game boy games - then do all of the surveys and have a chunk taken out of the next game I download. Not a bad plan - but its too bad I don't WANT any of those games. I already bought most of the games I want. Why not just an eShop credit so I can choose?

@Th3PlaidHatter Free? They have touted the Rewards Program as a way to get cool Nintendo Merch - and I have spent HOURS doing their surveys. Free? Are you kidding me? They pulled a bait and switch. They gave us peanuts when in the past we got a pizza. That's why people are mad. I already have all of the games I want in this list. So I have to choose between Minis on the Move (yawn) and Game and Wario? Or should I get DKCR3D even though I don't have the space on my 3DS and I already own it on Wii.

@Hrudy19 I have to second this - and what about people like me that compulsively buy the games they want? I already have all of the games here that I want. That is how I got platinum status (and hit platinum status AGAIN on July 7th). So I guess I will have to choose Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D - even though I already own it on the Wii (sans 3D). They should have thrown in Wii Sports Club (like 1 sport) - to promote the online features or something. I dunno. Why not like a $10 credit for Gold and a $20 credit for platinum so I can choose the game I want? Really there are like 2 or 3 games left on the eShop that I want. It seems that they didn't think of their best customers when they did this one.
