@ErnisDy
I'm just slightly cynical. It would be nice to see a Wii U release as the "goal" and not just an extra possibility accompanied by uncertainty, that's all.

Usagi-san commented on Rex Rocket Could Come To Wii U And 3DS If Fund...:
For once I'd like to see one of these kickstarter projects being made specifically for Wii U and 3Ds instead of it being at the end of a list of other goals.

To be honest it doesn't look intentional. Why was the movement removed in brawl if it wasn't a glitch?

Usagi-san commented on Fez For Wii U Is Highly Unlikely Unless Ninten...:
@SilentHunter382 But Slapshot was using this to argue that he must obviously know something about making it in the game industry.
I'm not trying to be mean or anything. If he has only made a one-hit wonder then he's a newcomer and actually may not be all that familiar with the industry. When slapshot said he made a living developing video games I assumed he had worked on other games and was a little known veteran.
#7
Usagi-san commented on Fez For Wii U Is Highly Unlikely Unless Ninten...:
@Slapshot "Actually, Fish makes a living developing video games, so I'd like to think he knows a little something about the industry"
Really? what else has he done? I can't find anything on his other stuff, but admittedly I haven't looked very hard.
#8
Usagi-san commented on Fez For Wii U Is Highly Unlikely Unless Ninten...:
I've never played the game but instead of waiting for Nintendo to do it for him why doesn't he just start a kickstarter and hire somebody to port it? If the fans love it that much it well get funded but if not then no real loss.

Usagi-san commented on Phil Fish: I Love Nintendo In Ways It Probably...:
So where do I sign up for my "not a nintendo fanboy" certification so that my opinion about criticisms regarding Nintendo can be valid?
Sometimes I get fed up with this propensity for labelling people as "fanboys" and then declaring their opinions somehow irrelevent.
I for one think that the way he expressed his opinion was poor and honestly can't understand some of his criticisms. I'd never heard anybody complain about having a second screen before so I found this particularly bizarre.

I keep going back to the demo to find out what everybody else is seeing but I haven't a clue. It didn't strike me as particularly good or bad so what is so awesome about the demo that changed people's minds?

I must be the only person who isn't enamored with the demo.

Can't say I'm excited. I never played lords of shadow but I had a look at the demo of this game and it didn't seem like anything special. It must not be my kind of game.
I was a little confused by that teaser though. I hope they're just not showing what's on the bottom screen when the necklace glows because it comes across as awkward otherwise.

Usagi-san commented on Wii U To Get An "Exclusive" Rayman Legends Dem...:
A game that was going to be exclusive to Wii U is now on hold, even though it's finished, for the sole reason of releasing it at the same time on other consoles... To be honest I think Ubisoft has earned the anger of disgruntled fans and I can understand if an exclusive demo does nothing to assuage that. Although I was never going to buy the game I do find this situation ridiculous.

Argh! I saw the video of the old games on the japanese Nintendo Direct and thought they might finally be bringing them to the 3DS Virtual Console. I don't want your new Pokemon games! Give me the Gameboy games first!!!
As for the new games, I can't say I'm too keen on the overworld. The pokemon look great but the rest... I hope there is some improvement before its release in October.

Usagi-san commented on Virtual Boy Port of Faceball Is Getting A Phys...:
@brooks83 Because there's no reason to assume otherwise. If I told you I bought a copy of an unreleased Zelda game and was now going to produce physical copies to sell at $100 each and then make the ROM freely available online but made no mention of obtaining rights would you believe everything was approved by Nintendo?
#27
Usagi-san commented on Virtual Boy Port of Faceball Is Getting A Phys...:
@russellohh The website isn't specifically for the virtual boy game it's a site for the developer. Either way it is up to the people making these illegal copies to seek out and obtain permission first, they don't know whether the copyright has been sold to somebody else or not.
To be completely frank the title of this should be "Virtual Boy Port of Faceball Is Getting A pirated Physical Release". I can see no mention in any of the links of permission having been obtained to make copies and that makes this simple piracy.
#28
Usagi-san commented on Virtual Boy Port of Faceball Is Getting A Phys...:
@Damo The developer may still exist, in any case if these people haven't sought permission that makes them pirates. Plain and simple.
In fact a little research suggests they may still exist. I googled the developer and found that Bullet Proof Software became Blue Planet software which has a website under construction.
#29
Usagi-san commented on Virtual Boy Port of Faceball Is Getting A Phys...:
I'm sure they have the full consent of the original creators to create and sell physical copies of the game, right? please tell me I'm right...

Usagi-san commented on Castlevania: Mirror Of Fate Contains Eye-Stabb...:
They are family according to the reboot (as in it might be appropriate for them to hug and make up like a happy family rather than try and kill each other - just in case this comment doesn't make sense to anybody.) Although my brother hopes that the whole Dracula-Belmont relationship disappears after they wrap it up and I tend to agree with him.
#31
Usagi-san commented on Castlevania: Mirror Of Fate Contains Eye-Stabb...:
@Gamesake My point is that the violence doesn't add anything to the game except glorifying brutality. I'd certainly like to know how displays of gratuitous violence by the Hero can have anything to do with fighting for a cause.
#32
Usagi-san commented on Castlevania: Mirror Of Fate Contains Eye-Stabb...:
@Gamesake
excessively violent videogames glorify horrific acts of brutality not fighting for a cause.

Usagi-san commented on Nintendo Download: 6th December 2012 (Europe):
Ugh. No Mighty Switch Force for Australia and users on miiverse are already talking about exploiting the region changing loophole to download the game from the UK eshop.
This smells an awful lot like Shantae: Risky's Revenge all over again. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't bother to have an AU release at all...

Usagi-san commented on Turns Out Worf From Star Trek Was Talking Abou...:
@Xilef Actually it's a common misconception that money has anything to do with whether fan works are copyright infringing or not. This IS an infringement of copyright, the question is whether Konami cares or not. I think similar statements to the one at the start are used to defend fanart but this isn't some picture on an artist's website this is a whole video series. It will be interesting to see if the creators of Castlevania take notice or not. They could praise it for all I know.

Of course it wouldn't have been there for so long if they had a contact form. Who's gonna write a letter or phone nintendo just to tell them they got the info on their site wrong? Not me.
#48
Usagi-san commented on Nintendo Lists Game Boy Advance Title for 3DS ...:
Linkstrikesback is right the GBA advance info has been there for a long time and if you look closely while we currently have Dr Mario on game boy you can't find it anywhere on the Australian site. I think this is just a case of them not providing the people in charge of the website with the correct info.

"Also you can't say that the game is offensive as offense is taken not given and when a lot of people take offense from something it makes it controversial not offensive."
Not sure where you got that idea from because my dictionary literally has entries for both "give offense" and "take offense". I think the word offensive is well within its correct usage here too.
