totallyNECTAR commented on Bit.Trip Core:

I beat this game last night and I have to (honestly) ask: Does everyone here really think this game is that hard? I think this game is x10 easier than Beat. The only times I failed were on the boss of the 2nd stage and I only replayed it about 4 or 5 times (and that's because I just kept making dumb mistakes. I could have easily beaten it in less tries if I was paying better attention). I beat the first and last levels on the first try. After reading everyone's comments about the game's difficulty I was intimidated, but at the same time excited...only to find the game to be easy to complete (WAY easier than Beat).

About the "random" beats: All the "bits" are on some kind of beat whether it be the actual beat of the song, or the melody. Just listen more carefully. Some notes may SEEM off-beat because you are hitting them on a different axis than the bit was intended for. If the beat crosses the axis you were supposed to hit it on and you miss it, but zap it on another axis that it may cross, it can seem off (diagonal bits for example or the blue swirling bits). Just listen to the music more carefully and use your reflexes and peripherals to take out the oncoming bits.

@nintendo87
Thanks! I was hoping someone would answer my question ;d

I'll prob end up picking up Bust a Move and CORE today, although I'll only have enough points to purchase 1 expansion pack. I'll be left with a stupid 100 points which will be useless D; Unless someone would be kind enough to gift me either CORE or Bust-a-Move and I'll gift them a 500 point game in return! Lol. I dont' want to pay 10 dollars to get freakin 100 points...if not oh well ;d

totallyNECTAR commented on Review: Water Warfare (WiiWare):

I posted this question on the Nintendo download page but some might not look there. So here it goes. Is Water Warfare's online pretty populated? Is it easy to find games with lots of ppl? I would like to know because I am on the fence about buying this game but it sounds alright. If the online community is somewhat active I might pick this up. Thanks for your help! ;D

I have a quick question about Water Warfare:

Is the online pretty populated? How many players per match do you average if you just play worldwide matches? What modes are most playing? I am interested in this but I'm not sure if I'm gonna get it yet because I want to have a fun online shooter (or in this case "soaker") for the Wii. I'm on the fence about it...but if online is populated enough I'll probably pick it up ;D

Hey guys got an update on Eduardo.

A guy on gamefaqs said this about Crazy-Hard:
"Also in crazy hard difficulty you die in one hit."

Sounds like it could be hard after all. Now that we have a couple multiplayer impressions from some other ppl here, I think I'll go ahead and pick this up. Sounds like decent fun and I like these types of games. Go Eduardo!

@longtimegamer

haha I don't know if I'm good, but my brothers and I enjoy playing them. Our favorites are Contra lll: The Alien Wars and Gunstar Heroes. We also play Metal Slug from time to time and even boot up the original Contra for NES (although blowing on the cartridge gets tedious sometimes lol).

@longtimegamer

haha no. That's SemnatDaniel ;d. I'm just trying to make a decision on whether to buy this or not (won't be able to until about 630PM since I have stuff to do). But the reason I ask the questions is because my bros and I love these kinds of games, but we usually only play them together (multiplayer) and on the hardest difficulty. Don't worry, I'm not trying to hype up the game lol. Just curious about the things I asked about.

Hey all, first post here!

I'm disappointed to see the first impressions on Eduardo to be pretty average/bad. But I think that we really need some impressions about multiplayer because that's what it seems the game is geared more towards. Single player impressions are well and good but multiplayer really makes run n gun games like this way more fun. And of course it's going to be repetative, that's just the nature of these types of games (original Contra for example). Also, the comments about the difficulty aren't really that much of a concern for me as of now seeing as how your impressions were from Hard and Normal. Most run n' gun games aren't really that much of a challenge unless they're cranked up to the hardest difficulty (in most cases). I'm not trying to put your impressions down, I'm just saying I think we need a bit more information about the game before everyone starts making final judgments on it, more specifically about Crazy Hard modes and multiplayer (if it's not too much trouble ;D)

Thanks guys!
