will the VC ever get mortal combat??

i would much prefer a wii madden with traditional controller controls.

i had fond memories of the NES version but once i played it again, i realized how horribly it's aged, thx to games like madden. just watching this youtube for 2 minutes, i was bored. i made the mistake of getting the NES version. i'm not making the same mistake twice.

popeye...man, that's a blast from the past. i spent a boatload of quarters on the arcade game. wouldn't mind seeing that on the VC.

these aren't nintendo but i REALLY want baseball stars (NES and possibly the neo geo version- BS2 was disappointing).
and the best version of paperboy available.

weren't users also able to rate games out of 10 (along with the official reviewer)? when did this change...or can we still officially rate it but i'm missing where we can do this? well, being a big fan of the space harrier arcade game (and even the home version) from when i was a kid, i'd probably grade this a 6 or 7 out of 10...i guess that's a 6.5 then =) this is the best version but it's $8 and beatable in a very short period of time. if you like SH from back in the day and don't have a version yet, you might want to give this a try.

i just bought it and beat it in about 20 minutes. still kinda fun and probably the best version but they really did their fans/customers a disservice by releasing 3 versions, with the best one getting released last. it's not cool to bilk us like that.

is the US getting this??

i remember really liking this game as a kid and maybe madden has spoiled me...i ended up getting this and got real bored, real quick. i wish i hadn't spent the $5. in 2008, this game leaves a lot to be desired. i don't know how anyone wouldn't get bored of this game very quickly. not recommended.
