whew, found a big enough fish-bowl.

also, i have a question. i don't want to bring my morbidly obese Aunt Bertha, but what if i want to bring lz's super-morbidly obese mother along? she'll amuse us all by making lz hold her tampon-filled purse, but she's worth like two Aunt Berthas at least... so should we bring four extra super-soakers for her, or six just to be sure we'll lift off okay?

Spitting acid = Vomiting
'nuff said

again, stomach acid =/= bile. plz to read up :3
that said, i also mentioned that, in my completely made-up physiology, the acid i spit comes from a totally separate gland (seriously, if i'm busy digesting something and need some acid to spit, i don't want to lose my dinner too, lol). so, you are wrong again, sir or madam :3

i don't care if you're impressed by the game or not... if you have a question about hype, you ask in a thread that's all about the hype. there was no need for a separate thread about it since your answers are far more likely to be found in this one.

also, no... i genuinely thought we were at the 'friend' level, considering i've seen you around plenty of times and i'm sure this hasn't been the first time we've directly interacted. apparently i was mistaken :(

@Token: If they were to make it a requirement that you have a CN account in order to download games, though, and made it so that you could sign up with CN via the console itself (as an option if you don't want to mess around on your computer), that'd make it much more feasible. I could see them doing something like that via System Update or once Wii2 rolls around.

i think the problem is more that CN was an afterthought in regions outside JP this gen... if it were something integrated into the console, it would've been a very useful tool in terms of allowing the user to change over all their Shop information. they could make it so that you have to connect to the Wii Shop with the original Wii in order to disable all the games you'd downloaded onto it before if they have to (in order to make absolutely sure you aren't just never-connecting-to-the-Shop-again on that Wii so that you can play those games forever)... that'd stop gamesharing in its tracks. and if the original Wii was no longer physically capable of connecting to the internet, they could work out those situations on a case-by-case basis.

@Token: Adam was referring to retail Wii games, where if they have the ability for online play via wi-fi, you can't copy over your save file to SD and back it up -- Brawl is a huge worry for players considering the amount of time people have put into that game in order to unlock everything, and they stand to lose all of that if they have to send in their Wii for repair and Nintendo has to replace it, or if they switch systems and are able to copy over all of their other game save-files except for that one. I wasn't talking about downloadable games at that point. :3

@Aviator: it's not your retail games or accessories we're talking about, but downloadables. Once you link your Wii or DSi Shop accounts with your Club Nintendo account, the Club Nintendo account knows what games you have downloaded and will provide you surveys to complete for eligible ones. I do think Club Nintendo could be a viable way to transfer account information across systems someday (as it keeps track of what you have downloaded once you've got everything linked up), all they have to do is tweak it a little and provide the System Update(s) necessary to get people to sign up and link up almost as soon as they've set up their console. :3

It was always Roy Disney (Walt's brother) who was more of the businessman of the two brothers. Walt had the creatively while Roy was the businessman, they were a great pair. In fact Walt helped the rival theme park Knots Berry farm quite a bit in his life

so? surely Walt knew Knotts' Berry Farm would never rival Disney, man. helping the competition like that makes you look like more of a good guy, that's all. just because Walt was more creative than Roy doesn't mean he was never on equal footing in a business sense.

I like the astronaut a little bit more now that he is an astronaut. The helmet compensates for the hunchback.

Are you going to make this an exploration game, too? Doesn't look like it ought to be. Ninja Story was a joy to look at as you explored. This is so plain that it feels more like your linear platformer you were planning.

agreeing with every last bit of this. just come up with like a handful of levels for us to get through, provide some kind of goal area to reach and a short plot (he's trying to infiltrate a castle and get out quickly with [insert item here], for example), and just make it a one-sitting game. just finish the damn thing, for cryin' out loud, man, please don't let it die. It's been a lot of fun playing the demos as they've evolved, and the Ninja Story game deserves some kind of closure, even if it's not the full game we were hoping for. :(
