The stupid thing is they seem to have pdf files for most or all of the retail Wii/DS Nintendo-branded games on their site, and those games come with actual manuals -- can't imagine too many people wanting to download them unless they pirated the games, in which case it seems silly to be giving those manuals away for free.

it's not so stupid when you think about manuals getting lost or not being included with games you've acquired secondhand. i remember when i was little, my younger brother and sister would absolutely destroy game manuals, or one of the dogs would get it, or they'd get left out and tossed aside and we wouldn't find 'em until after moving a piece of furniture or something. also, i don't think i've gotten a single game from GameStop used where the manual was included. i know i turn in all the manuals and safety info pamphlets and stuff for games when i trade them in... why can't everyone else? :/

i do agree with the rest of your rant about having to access the Wii Shop to see the game manuals, though (DSiWare, at least, you don't have to exit the game and visit the Shop to see them; why can't WiiWare games be like that too?), lol.

@ng1000: it's Flipnote Hatena you're thinking of, with Flipnote Studio being the DSiWare app that allows you to create animations. to post one to the NL forums, it's just like posting a youtube video, only with 'flipnote' instead and two areas of text to copy over (separated by a colon).

the average Flipnote URL looks like this:
Untitled
note the green and blue highlighted strings of lettters/numbers, which copy over into the code like so:
Untitled
the first run of random numbers/letters goes before the second colon, and the other goes after it.

as always, if you see someone posting something on the forums and you don't know how they got that to work, just click the 'quote' link above their post and you'll be able to see the raw code in the quoted text that pops up in the Comment box for you. :3

yes, you can re-copy older versions saved to the SD card back into system memory, and your info will remain intact. i have to delete games out of system memory all the time, and except for a couple that tell you off the bat when you try to copy them to SD that not all information will transfer (Robot Rescue and Littlest Pet Shop were the ones, i believe), i haven't lost any saved information yet, lol. :3

When Pearl channeled Mia, for instance, her hair had the little loopy thingys that Pearl had, but when Maya channeled Dahlia, the hair changed to Dahlia's style, but changed to Maya's color, which made her look like Iris. Unless she just fixed up her hair somehow.

Why am I talking about hair...?

didn't they show her fixing her hair, though? i could've sworn there was an image or text or something that explained how the hair had been done up in Iris's style... i could be mistaken, though; it's been a while since i've replayed that case, lol.

@Adam: apparently it's the '98 Gauntlet Legends i remember playing in the arcade years ago with some friends of mine, and according to Wikipedia (now that i've had time to properly look it up, lol) it's more a hack-and-slash game with RPG elements (the leveling up was what i remembered, as well as different races/characters having one major leaning stat-wise, i.e. strength or speed). as i said before, it's RPG-ish enough for me; i'd love to see Gaijin do something along those lines eventually with the Bit.Trip series, provided they didn't have someplace else waaaaay more awesome that they were going with it all, lol.
