you should be able to pick up EBA for cheap, so get that and see if you like it. if you do, then look into getting the Ouendan games. personally, i love rhythm games, and EBA was so fresh and fun it had me absolutely hooked until i'd completed it. even now i like going back every so often and playing it for a while :3

agreed. just like books, TV, and movies, games can also give you a taste of things you haven't done before or won't be able to experience in our lifetime. they're no substitute for the real thing, but there's nothing wrong with devs attempting to give as realistic an experience as possible.

that said, the OP has his answer, and a suggestion for a game that is appropriate for his 6-year-old, so it's time to put this one to bed. :3

You'll have to call your local GameStop to find out exact trade-in values. Google pulled up results saying $50-ish for store credit, though, and it seems the Go is excluded from the 'extra $25 for hardware trade-ins' deal, though, so that doesn't bode well, hahaha.

yeah, Nation States, Cybernations, it's all the same kind of deal. I've played both, and both bored me. i believe the only thing that keeps drawing my husband back in is whether or not his old friends are playing it too -- there's forums and stuff if you get really, really into it where they play government and whatnot. :3

you can replace 'Wii' with '360', 'PS3', or any other game console btw and the point i'm making is exactly the same

@Kid_A: if i'm going to play a game through once i'd better enjoy it. i'm not going to play all the way through something I hate just because the second playthrough is supposed to be mindblowingly amazing, and I'd like for a review to tell me straight-up how it's going to be during that first playthrough instead of blowing apologist smoke up my rear and telling me it's so much better the second time through. No offense, I understand you enjoyed it very much, but other games do exist that are excellent from front to back, playthrough after playthrough; i'm not going to waste a whole lot of my time (and full retail price) on this if it's just going to be a giant chore to slog through. :3

I think that just one playthrough is all you can reasonably ask of any reviewer who's writing for the average joe. a review hosted on a Mickey Mouse/Disney fansite, sure, tell them they should play through it twice before judging whether they like it or not, but in terms of IGN, Gamespot, and here at NL, once is just fine IMO.
