[13:11] James Newton: I've half a mind to call Kaz Hirai right now
[13:12] theblackdragon: oh no, not kaz hirai
[13:12] PhoenixSage: Kaz would want to hear this
[13:12] theblackdragon: is he your good friend???
[13:12] PhoenixSage: This is a major shift in loyalty
[13:12] lz20XX: ?
[13:13] PhoenixSage: He needs to know where these people stand, definitely
[13:13] theblackdragon: you should totally post that someplace public so that everyone knows what awesome connections you have
[13:13] James Newton: I think it's massively important that everybody knows that I know people in the games industry
[13:13] James Newton: Should I remind people of this at every available opportunity?
[13:14] theblackdragon: i think i smell a drunken thread coming on
[13:14] theblackdragon: yes. yes you should remind people.
[13:14] lz20XX: Awesome :3

I think you mean "couldn't" care less. Ie. it is impossible for you to care less than you do about the feature.

but how do you know he's not actually super-stoked about the feature and everyone else just mistook his meaning? :3

too old, zez. generally if an original thread is a year or more older than the duplicate, i won't bother locking/redirecting.
granted, there's always room for special cases, but this ain't one of 'em :3

Re: Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light

i don't think the bosses level with you, because i've been spankin' 'em pretty hard ever since my party got back together and i got my crowns leveled to max, lol... you just need to be properly prepared is all. an elementalist with Mysterio works wonders, haha. :3

Re: Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light

theblackdragon

what are you talking about? there's a save point just before like every single boss in the game, including Beelzebub. just restart your DS/i (so you won't lose any gems), pick it back up, and try again. if you're having your rear handed to you too quickly, try grinding a little bit beforehand or leveling up your dudes' crowns, or even switching crowns if it's giving you that much trouble.

Re: Opinions of PSP2 (NGP)

theblackdragon

@lz: that way you can have it if you want it, and if you don't, you don't -- it kinda falls in line with them offering all the different packages with the PS3 regarding internal storage and stuff, that they would want to give people the option. I believe the Kindle and the iPad both sell 3G/WiFi and WiFi-only models too, so they're not the only ones offering that kind of thing. :3

Re: How can somebody become a reviewer here at nintendo life?

theblackdragon

Oh, one important thing i forgot to mention -- NL prefers its reviewing staff to be at least 18. that way they know you have the ability to pay for the games you'll have to buy in order to review them :3

Re: How can somebody become a reviewer here at nintendo life?

When NL needs staff, there's usually an advertisement on the main site and the Join the Team link will show an application as opposed to the 'thanks but we're not looking at this time' message. You'll fill that out, the admin staff will review it, and you'll be contacted to let you know whether they're interested or not.

As for 'perks', there's not many other than seeing your name in digital print, but i can safely say you'll be handsomely rewarded by the accolades of your peers, the legions of adoring commenters telling you you're entirely wrong and you should've given (insert game here) a (insert number here) instead of whatever you felt it garnered via the Scoring Guide, a shiny silver shield beside your username, and, of course, a generously rounded six-figure salary...
and by 'rounded', i mean that all the digits are zeroes, haha
