Hey guys, you'll all notice I've stepped in to clean up all the prior nastiness. I'd like to make something clear to everyone (especially @Slayer, who brought it up in the first place): we ask that everyone abide by our Community Rules, and they specifically prohibit the discussion of emulators, ROMs, and illegal devices (yes, flashcarts are indeed illegal in the UK and we don't care where you're from — we ask that you not discuss them period). We don't think this is too much to ask of our users. If this is something you cannot handle, you will eventually wind up banned. The idea of you not being able to release your Petit Computer games to our userbase in no way outweighs the enforcement of our Community Rules.

In short, we don't care how big a 'big shot' you are in the Petit Computer world. If you use that as an excuse to flout our Rules, you will eventually wind up banned. This is your warning. Thanks in advance, everyone! :3

@Electricmastro: to echo what the others have already explained, yeah, 'buigi' is 'big-luigi' — when i start calling someone a nickname, i generally don't stop using it, not even if their username winds up changed over time. For example, Knux will always be 'weegee', as he had a Luigi-based username during the height of the 'mama weegee' meme, BadKitty will always be 'emmy' since she was originally Emeralds110 or something like that, Prof_Clayton will always be 'cluigi' since he was originally ClaytonLuigi, etc. and so forth. :3

also, don't beat yourself up over the gender thing, it's just the nature of the internet's inherent quasi-anonymity. there are no girls on the internets, after all :3

@ELI-ASH: we do ask that users edit their final post to a thread if they need to add something else as opposed to double or triple-posting. it's not technically in the Rules, but in certain or repeated instances it can be disruptive behavior (as opposed to a potential accident, as SheldonRandoms has demonstrated, or a user who hasn't yet realized how their style of posting impacts a thread here at NL yet). If you find a user doing this sort of thing and it is disrupting a thread, feel free to report their comments and move on; we'll handle it if necessary.

Seven was a beast for srs, i would never have won the game without them. I did play Shulk/Sharla/Reyn and controlled Shulk for much of the game (because that's how i wanted to play it out the first time through), but I spent some time leveling Melia up for the big boss fight in the Bionis' Interior and had a lot of fun controlling her too. I think Riki was the only one i never seriously fought much with, i only used him during one boss fight (the Monado was useless iirc and i needed someone who could do good physical dmg); i've just never been the sort of player who uses debuffs a lot in RPGs.

i know i'm probably in the minority, but is anyone else getting a little tired of Daniel Bryan? I'm sorry, i do think it's great he's getting this massive push and all, he's worked damn hard and deserves every bit of his impending success, but i'm so sick of his neurotic, insecure 'character' where he turns every possible comment or compliment into a slight or insult against him and then just starts chanting 'YES' as if that ends all arguments. i know it's gotta be the writers' fault, wouldn't be the first time a wrestler i thoroughly enjoy has been given a craptastic storyline or strange behaviors for whatever reason, but he's so front-and-center it's really starting to turn me off of RAW. guess it's time for another break...
but i'll at least wait until Orton becomes the champion after Summerslam's main event tomorrow, should be worth a laugh at least

That tends to happen to me when (a) i wake up my netbook from hibernation, or (b) i've got too many things running in the background. On my old laptop i used to be able to have GmailAssistant running, it would pop up and tell me whenever i had an e-mail waiting in my inbox, but now on my netbook I can't run it without experiencing crazy Firefox slowdown.

A couple years ago, i remember Firefox had a nasty memory leak going for some reason and you'd have to close the browser entirely and re-open it every so often to clear the memory cache, otherwise it'd just run and run and run until your whole system locked up on you (took a few days to happen, iirc). nowadays I still close FF entirely via Task Manager if i notice it's being a spectacular pain in the rear re: slowdown and freezing. YMMV, of course. :3
