You were asked already to use the main 3DS Friend Code thread. Please use it. The people in there won't bite, I promise — they just want to share their Friend Codes with you! :3

theblackdragon

please, we ask that you use the aforementioned topic for all your 3DS friend code trading needs — just dive right in, add whomever you like, and then comment telling them who you added (so they can add you back). You'll have plenty of friends in no time!

also, please note that our Community Rules ask that you use English only at Nintendo Life, guys. As long as you're doing your best, you'll fit in just fine, don't worry. Thanks in advance! :3

The same login works across all three sites.

By the way, if you could put some effort into your threads instead of 'title says it all', it'd be greatly appreciated.

@Tech101: Push Square started off as Sammy Barker's baby back in '09 and is now part of the Nlife Network — think of it as a sister site for Nintendo Life, only it's all about Sony stuff. If you're interested in Playstation stuff at all, it's good times :3

Re: Did Nintendo break my DS settings?

theblackdragon

ah, i see what you're talking about now — for some reason i thought 'Uno' was the name of a pokemon you were trying to transfer from game to game between systems, lol. that particular error code seems to have to do with IP addresses on your network, perhaps your 3DS and DSi are grabbing for the same address at the same time. Have you ever had a problem transferring DSiWare between your systems before? if it worked before and isn't working now for some reason, the error code page at Nintendo recommends power cycling your router as a potential fix.

Re: Did Nintendo break my DS settings?

theblackdragon

You fixed the problem with the 'DS games wi-fi' setting on your 3DS, but that doesn't have anything to do with your DSi... if your DSi can connect to the DSi Shop and use the Internet Browser with no problem but has trouble playing DS games using WFC functionality, chances are your internet settings haven't been set properly on your DSi. Remember that DS games require a WEP connection, they can't do anything with WPA.

Re: Do you have any Disabilities?

theblackdragon

Guys, this isn't a 'more ______ than thou' thread. If the idea that someone posting in this thread may not be as afflicted with a given disorder than you and stil presents themselves on your level bothers you, please move on. if we could keep this thread focused on disorders and/or disabilities that you personally have and not whether or not someone else is truly suffering from something or not, I'd greatly appreciate it — and so would others who may be timid about expressing themselves in this thread.

Also, if we could steer clear of politics, that would be awesome.

Please, Happy_Mask, let's not give links to sites circumventing Nintendo's own ability to unlock their own hardware. If the OP is legit, they'll help them out no problem. :3

That's weird. I didn't sense a difficulty spike at all in Radiant Historia. Maybe you're not using the right strategy?

It's pretty easy to be under leveled for that fight, since most of the enemies you face before it all had pretty annoying attacks, and the jump in stats between the last area is higher than all the previous ones, atleast it seemed like that to me anyways, and it might cause you to try and bypass the enemies, so it's not hard to be under leveled for that fight.

For me, the difficulty spike in Ch. 4 wasn't so much about leveling as it was strategy. You can kinda coast through the first three chapters on automatic, but in Ch. 4 they start throwing enemies at you that'll take you down with a quickness if you aren't actually strategizing at all even if you're at or above-level. Poisoning your enemies works wonders in RH though, and pushing enemies around into Aht's traps or a powerful blast from Stocke or Raynie is good times. work your combos :3

Don't format the system! Nintendo has a support article here for you, you'll need to get in touch with them directly for them to give you a code that'll unlock your Wii. D:

@I-U: I know in online multiplayer, if you've created a room for say 3 or 4 people and only 2 show up, you can choose to start the match either with just the people who showed up or with the CPU taking the place of the ones you're missing. i haven't experimented with just fighting against the computer that way yet though, lol.

Pros and Cons list do nothing but give your readers another excuse to not read your reviews. Nintendo Life was built with writers who actually know how to write and do so in such a way that it actually makes the readers want to read their reviews. The problem with the majority of websites today is things like Pros/Cons sections and to be blatantly honest, a scoring system in itself.

while i agree with you, if people want a 'pros and cons' thing, they have the right to make it a formal request via the Feedback area. as always, whether anything is actually implemented is entirely up to the directors :3
