Four pages' worth of comments and only a handful actually worth anything to the OP. Congratulations, all, you truly outdid yourselves tonight. Do it again and some of you may wind up banned for your trouble.

@fzerofan: I'm sorry your Wii U was stolen. I hope you've filed a police report, I'm afraid that's the only way Nintendo will work with you to restore your eShop account and purchased games. Other than that, I think ShadJV has a good idea to try contacting your insurance company to see if they cover items stolen from your car (they also may require a police report, though it doesn't hurt to ask). Good luck to you!

Please don't spam our forums or encourage others to do so. For your idea to work, people would need to contact Nintendo directly, which may be done via e-mail here and by calling their customer service hotline at 1-800-255-3700 (Nintendo of America), or via the information found here if it's Nintendo of Europe you're after. Good luck!

pretty much. the answer would differ greatly from person to person. you may as well ask whether someone would consider a series of given sounds 'music' or a collection of random words 'poetry' or 'literature'.

Honestly, if a dude like Miyamoto, who makes games that often go beyond the lines of awesome, thinks his work isn't art, then I'd pay to see what he considers "art."

Wait, what was Chrono's opinion anyway?

Not to restart the same old tail-chasing argument that usually happens whenever anyone gets wind of the words 'video games' and 'art' being used in the same sentence, but

(a) Art isn't really in the eye of the creator; one man's crap is another man's mindblowing statement about life, the universe, and everything
(b) It's in the nature of Japanese culture for people to be humble about their own work and allow others to praise it fully.

'Art' is too subjective a term, and if he doesn't want it applied to his games by his subordinates, that's his call to make, but he can't stop anyone else from saying (or awarding things) as they please. Either way, congratulations to him on the award~

naah, i'd suggest they snap up some of the people behind Capcom's artwork for the Street Fighter characters. Some of them have ridiculous feet in the artwork for arcade machines and stuff, haha D:

i was trying to find an image to illustrate how ridiculously large the feet are in some SF artwork, but then i got bored and stumbled across this gif which i found amusing:

so say you have the game and download the maps and then sell off your game.. in a few months you rebuy the game... would you still have the dlc or do you need to buy them again since it saves to your memory card and not the game itself

I know when I downloaded the DLC on my 3DS, my husband had to download the DLC onto his own — the game acted like it had had no DLC downloaded at all. I'd imagine that, once you re-buy the game in your situation, the game would behave as if you'd downloaded the DLC on one file and started a brand new game on an empty slot; the already-downloaded maps wouldn't be accessible until that one spot on the map opens up, but they'd be there for you to access as soon as it was available.
