yes, i drink occasionally. it's fun to get together with friends and chill or go out for a movie and have a drink with dinner beforehand. how much I drink at a party tends to depend on what kind of crowd i'm hanging out with and whether or not i'm welcome to stay the night, to be honest. :3

for you guys saying you don't understand people who decide to imbibe on occasion, here's a tip: don't rag on the friends you have that do if you're out at a party or someplace where you knew there would be alcohol in the first place unless you don't really want to hang with those friends anymore. a true friend will respect your decision not to drink and will not pressure you to drink anything alcoholic, but in turn they will not appreciate you complaining every time they reach for a sip of their beer.

the problem with this is that they'd probably start building in the overhead necessary for them to still be able to turn a profit even after lowering their prices, thus making it all moot in the end. the occasional sale would be one thing, or a deal where if you purchase two games in one session you'd get them both for a reduced price, but for individual downloadable games, i'd rather have them set one price and just stick to it, the way they've been doing.

this page has a lot of information on Japanese Wii systems and its lockouts. Assuming US Wiis operate in the same manner, no, there is no way to legally download Japanese VC/Wiiware games to a US Wii -- the Wii will automatically only be able to access the Wii Shop for the region it's designed to access. Also, if you've got a Japanese Wii, you'd need to have Japan-bought Nintendo Points to redeem on it (there's also a region lockout for point cards; there's a link to a video on that page that shows an attempt on a US Wii to redeem a presumably Japanese Wii Points card that gave them an error 205618).

I'm pretty sure I read something about foreign (out of region) credit cards also not working to purchase Nintendo Points through the Wii Shop, but don't quote me on that until you read it for yourself someplace else. :P

She understands absolutely nothing about love, and therefore can't treat me as sensitively as I'd prefer. She actually tends to act like nothing ever happened, which sometimes causes me to have to remind her why I'm doing something I'm doing, or getting annoyed when she carelessly starts dressing nicer around me and stuff.

For all those circumstances, she's easiest to talk to online. My best friend of instant chat. :P

ouch... that's pretty rough, man -- by acting as if nothing ever happened around you, it sounds like she's trying to tell you that she'd rather you behave the same way. have you tried making other online friends or elaborating on existing friendships so that you aren't subconsciously focusing on her so much as your emotional outlet?

also, the easiest people to talk to online can be the most annoying people to be around IRL. there's something about the internet that makes it so much nicer to talk to people than in person. i don't know what it is. D:

a moron would be someone who didn't buy it just because they thought it looked dumb, not someone who bought and enjoyed it very much and did not feel the need to buy it again for a new system just for a few extras added in. there is no shame in being satisfied with what you've already got.

Peh, after shipping it ain't. At least with CC (or alternatively CTDS)I could find cheap at a store, then I don't have to wait for it, pay extra fees, nor risk it getting lost or damaged during delivery. Plus, FF Chronicles were wholey inferior to their later remakes(hence why it's cheaper - because no one wants a crummy remake) , so either way you're paying for lesser quality.

as CC was a PSX game, i chose to focus on that version; any store selling CC would be just as likely to have FFC in stock. eBay has at least one 'brand new' GH copy at about $13, and shipping would bring it up to about $17. turn your nose up at the PSX remake (which was the first one I played, and I loved it, thanks) all you like, i'm just saying that you weren't looking very hard when you said you couldn't find a copy of CT below $30 used.
