hey, at least they sold it to you without a problem at the other store — when I went to get my copy of Black v2, I actually had to point out to the employee that yes, the game's official release date was that day (thank goodness they had a huge sticker on the case door with the date on it, haha). like i said, it's dependent on whether or not they actually have it in stock and whether you can find an employee to help you, but if wal-mart has a first-party title in stock, in my experience it's usually going to be a slightly lesser price than hitting up a nearby Gamestop.

heck, even now GS has DKCR3D listed as 34.99 with '39.99' in red crossed out below... not sure what that's all about or if the price'll go up later.

@pedrron: no way no way i didn't even know there'd been a second Hakuouki game released for PSP! must get, i don't care if it's bad or not~

That said, this game we're talking about here is going to be a port of the PSP's Demon of the Fleeting Blossom, the 'second' not-so-well-rated game you saw on Amazon would be Warriors of the Shinsengumi (or at least that's what I'm looking at now, haha). Demon of the Fleeting Blossom covers the main Hakuouki tale, with Chizuru looking for her father. This Warriors game looks like some sort of hack-and-slash spin-off from the main visual novel game.

@SkywardLink98: lol, I'm in NC right now and I'm telling you, I can usually get a first-party game for a few bucks cheaper there than at a Gamestop in my area provided they have it in stock and i can find an employee to unlock the case for me. If you want an example, they've got Pokemon Black v2 listed on their website as being $31-ish, while gamestop has it used for $32-ish. Same deal for PMD: Gates to Infinity, Wal-Mart has it listed for $29-some new and Gamestop still wants $34.99 for a new copy.

The most important thing i guess is to just do your homework in your area if you're looking for a 'best' place to buy games in town. There are plenty of Super Wal-Mart complexes/strip-mall areas set up with Gamestops alongside or nearby, so if there's a new first-party game you want and those are your options, be sure to check both places before making your purchase.

I hope you feel better for what you did that day, but we don't need any threads where users are encouraged to share their stories of horrible service and subsequent revenge, please and thank you.

@SkywardLink98: Maybe that's true for your area, but not where I'm at. Maybe the OP should start checking around to be sure — i remember back when the DSi hit and Rhythm Heaven came out, i went to the midnight launch and had intended to pick up a copy of RH from Gamestop along with my new DSi. That GS was right next to a Wal-Mart, though, and we had an hour to kill, so we went to WM and walked around and, lo and behold, they had RH available for $32 when GS was charging $34.99 or something. It's been the same for most first-party releases around here; GS will have them at $34.99 and Wal-Mart will have them a few bucks less.

@SL68: Some women are built that way. It takes all kinds. It could be the way she's standing, it could be the way the suit molds her body and natural shape, but she looks more like an average human female in that 'zero suit' image than she does in the bikini one you provided (with no hips).

edit: can you not see they're not even standing the same way? Have any woman stand in the first Zero Suit sprite pose you've provided and you'll see some pancaking. Brawl Samus's buttocks defy gravity, it's not natural for that pose and that angle shot (but again could be blamed on the suit). perhaps they upgraded it before her Brawl appearance to make things more appealing to people who like their ladies looking as fake and airbrushed as possible?

Yes, she has a bubble rump.

Bubble rumps=big, round rumps.

What do you think that big, round volume is mostly made up of?

Depends on whose butt we're talking about. i've seen some round, plump tushies firm enough to bounce a quarter off'a — not a drop of fat in 'em. Samus may be the victim of bad lighting in that suit, but do I think her butt looks flabby and fat? No. Just normal.

yeah, Gamestop has their points system and discounts on used titles, but if you're looking for the cheapest prices on new games, stick with Wal-Mart — if they have what you want in stock. I've seen brand new games go for $2 to $5 less than what Gamestop sells 'em for. Best Buy and Toys 'R' Us sometimes run deals on games (buy two get one, etc.), but again their stock might be limited, and they probably won't have lesser-known third-party titles in stock (think Atlus titles).

As mentioned above, Amazon is also good, but I'm an instant-gratification kind of girl — when i make the call to buy something, i want it now-now-now :3

SL68, have you ever seen a real woman's butt before? And I don't mean an airbrushed-to-perfection version like in your average magazine, but an actual female butt in real life? Or how about just a woman from the rear in general? We have hips, we have curves. The first version you've supplied, she has no hips and her thighs are missing, and in the second version, she's built that muscle mass back and grew some pelvic bones. That's the only difference.

If you were basing your arguments on the sexualization of Samus and whether or not it should have happened at all, that'd be one thing, but for all your arguing the only thing I'm seeing is someone ticked off that a female game character's form was updated to look more like she'd actually be able to walk around on a planet with Earth-like gravity. Cry me a river.

Early in his life, Mario took a long time to settle on a career. He tried refereeing boxing and tennis matches, but he yearned to be part of the action rather than just judging it. He settled on plumbing for a long time (most of the platformers), but later in life he eventually realized he needed to make more money to impress the ladies. He went to pharmacology school and became a doctor (Dr. Mario). Unfortunately, Luigi's addiction to over-the-counter opiate-based drugs (developed after a short stint as a ghost hunter---he just really need to escape the nightmares, man) caused Mario to lose his license. You see, Luigi stole some drugs while visiting his brother at work, but Mario took the fall. That's why Mario eventually had to settle on a construction job (the aforementioned Wrecking Crew).

@Aqueous: I probably should've mentioned that you're able to use the same save-files between both versions of the demo — i discovered that while experimenting to see whether the same guard-room glitch was in both versions, haha. you could've copied over your latest save-file from the first demo over to the second and played it from where you'd last left off :3
unless you hadn't saved recently, ignoring everything Emmy ever taught us noobs... naughty naughty :(

also, i've noticed that trying to speed through long stretches of dialogue can freeze the game at other points as well. the game froze for me once in the newbie training area (just before Emmy was about to demand their names), and another time in the Guard Room after LJM takes over (i ran into a wall and couldn't move during the automatic sequence). i guess the moral of the story is to not read too damn fast or try to skip around if you're replaying something, haha D:
