maybe the reason for the delay is that they are struggling with the rights to the songs in the musical stages. still is annoying, it is one of the few third party games i am interested in. the demo was awesome.

30 cents is marvelous for New Zealand. We usually get screwed on the exchange rate and I end up buying from Ireland

I have been replaying metroid prime again, which is my favourite of the prime series (that and zeldas are the most replayed games in my collection). But I am not back home until Sunday night, but I might sneak some in then.

I really want my launch WiiU so I can play that on the weekend. Maybe I should start a charity: the "help The Amazing Raccoon pay off his wiiU relief fund.

Unfortunately I still haven't paid off my WiiU (it pains me to think of a launch WiiU sitting in the back of a store.

My biggest concern for my purchases when my 3DS is that Nintendo wont give me back the digital purchases from other regions other than NZ.
The advantage to physical copies is that you can find real gems in the bargain bin.

CBFD is my favourite N64 game. It was the perfect storm of insane ideas that made for such a great game. It was my first online purchase. The multiplayer was awesome too. I remember me and my friend playing the beach against the bots (both as squirrels and tediz) for so long we were able to beat it on the max setting. The tediz on the sniper rifle could shoot you in the air at that level so you had to run between shots.

It was a shame it created a craze of platformers with guns that didn't even come close to its awesomeness. Without that crude English humour, movie references and great mighty poo, there is no game that will be anywhere near it.

NZ internet is some of the slowest in the world. Not looking forward to how long it is going to take.
That being said, by the time I pay off my preorder they probably will have ironed out a few of the kinks.

I hope that it requires less effort and time than normal social networking

If Nintendo does not own the IP of ED it should buy SK, keep the staff (minus Dyack) and get the IP. That being said a sequel will never live up to the original; that game was amazing (my favourite gamecube game).

I have spent more on games for the wii than possibly all my other systems of the past combined. I have bought more retail games for the wii that any other system (It is possible however that I have more games for my N64; I am talking about for the actual console not VC on the wii. I am not going to count them up for the purposes of this post though) and when you add VC and wiiware purchase the total is mind boggling. The wii also gave me the chance to play SNES games. The SNES is the only nintendo generation I missed; my parents got me a NES but failed to buy me a SNES when the next generation came out. Shame on them. Then the 64 was the first home console I purchased with my own money (the first console I bought was the GB) so I completely missed the SNES. So for that alone I love the wii.

I am going to be treating my ebgames premium preorder like a layby (layaway) even though they don't offer it. There is no way I will pay it all by launch, but there is no maximum time they will keep it for; so I will just pay it off at my leisure.

I missed out on the black wii, I am not going to miss out on a black wiiu (I do wish there was a yellow wiiu at launch though black is the next best thing).

I am not a huge fan but I was looking forward to the anniversary. Bad move Capcom, bad move. They keep treating fans like this, they will go under. One of these days they will calculate the cost of screwing us over and hopefully change their ways.
