Here's my two cents: go to the Petit Computer website, print off several of the sample programs, and tinker with them. Grab a Basic tutorial like this http://home.cmit.net/rwolbeck/programmingtutorial/ and look for similiarities.
Gotta look up the VC site--yes, the VC site. Wonder what games are now up there. Should I get the VC or the DSIware game? Oh, it's Monday, Monday, everyone knows it's Monday. Monday, Monday, everyone knows it's Monday...
I've enjoyed watching Marcel's reviews float down from optimism (8+) down to realism (1 star). But seriously, Marcel, there's a silver lining to every NES cartridge.
Okay, I finished the main story--it was quite short. Only 8h 33m. The story was a bit predictable, but enjoyable nonetheless. I did like one of Kain's lines to the zombie troops. It was something like, "Hey, I know you guys are being mind-controlled and everything but couldn't you at least try a little more self-preservation?"
Marcel wrote, "Of course, the catch is that only Japan is getting them - American Final Fantasy fans can only definitely expect the first and fourth games, as they were the only ones originally released in the US."
Marcel, FF 6 (VI) was released in the USA originally, right?
I kid you not: the original sequel to Mike Tyson's Punch Out is called "Power Punch II" or "Mike Tyson's Intergalactic Power Punch." You play Mike Tyson and beat up space aliens in the ring. Seriously--google it!
The "Ogre Battle" title's quite clever, From an old Queen album it can't sever. But a song from a band For entertainment grand? Well of course, who wants to live for ever?
We are glad C64 didn't expire So we might play again and perspire To those old great games Like racers with slow frames Now give us BC's Quest For Tires!
In this game when you want to kick left You'll find yourself thus quite bereft. With controls as amusing as this game you'll be losing, Instead give this game a good heft.
Not content with just stealing it's look This game took each page from Zelda's book. A sword that looks mean A hidden cave on each screen Must play to see all the thief took!
I remember Glass Joe quicklly fell. I was glad hearing thricely the bell But I let loose a scream When I saw Mr. Dream Thinking, "This ain't Mike Tyson: I can tell!"
Yes I played on this island before but I found it to be quite a bore. Without eating fruit Your little guy's in death's suit. Thus I enjoyed its return to the store!
