This article is 100% why I'm a Nintendo fanboy and have actually bought Nintendo stock.

spidey1010 commented on Talking Point: Wii U Bundles Need to Suit Us All:
Not to be a Negative Nancy, but I highly doubt Nintendo will do multiple, price-differing bundles.
It's not their style at all. They want the buying experience to be simple.
My prediction?
They'll have one product.
To entice the casual gamers, they'll say, "Here's everything you need to enjoy our latest offering."
The launch Wii U product will include Wii U console, Wii U gamepad, and Nintendoland, with some cheap video cables- probably component, maybe composite if they're feeling really cheap.
Then they'll simply let the harder-core gamers decide what extras they want: those gamers will have to buy separate HDMI cables, more remotes, etc.
Does it favor the casual gamer? Yes.
But it also favors those who already own a Wii, seeing as how it offers no extras that people already own. It's the barebones kit, but it panders to the widest audience: casuals and previous customers.

@Nintex
July 17th.
We got boned this time around, for some reason.

spidey1010 commented on Satoru Iwata Acknowledges Possibility of Free-...:
Good to know Nintendo's trying to be more aggressive and cutting edge.
While I can't see any of their core franchises going free-to-play, I'm really glad they're opening up that possibility for developers.
As for disc V. digital, there's something appealing to me about having a physical disc. Although that may just be lingering sentiment from when games were actually written to the cartridge. I hate the modern standard of saves being kept only on the system's hard drive.

Eugh, I don't know if it's worth it.

I'm neutral about the loss of the circle pads. I like them just the same as analog sticks...
I'm happy about the name, though. I really like it.

spidey1010 commented on Guide: Nintendo 3DS System Update v. 4.0.0-7:
Small yet awesome change I noticed:
When you hold your stylus on an icon, it takes less time to become mobile.
Before, it took maybe half a second, now it's probably less than .1 second.
Reorganizing went a lot faster than I expected because of this.

@Koto
Yup, the first GBA outside of Japan is what I meant. I wasn't aware of the real first GBA one.

Ugh... the graphics look awesome, but for some reason it's making me nervous.
It's reminding me of Radiant Dawn, which I didn't like.
I really hope they develop the characters well. I haven't seen much of that in Shadow Dragon or Radiant Dawn. Hell, something seemed off in Sacred Stones. The original GBA one was my favorite.

spidey1010 commented on Fire Emblem Awakening Wireless Features Revealed:
It's exciting just to hear any news on this.
I don't really know what to suggest to make it better, but the online multiplayer for Shadow Dragon just wasn't fun.
Hopefully local co-op goes a long way towards remedying that.
If they do have something online, they should include co-op, or at least change it from Shadow Dragon.

spidey1010 commented on New Fire Emblem Trailer Raises the Temperature:
Those cutscenes look beautiful.
But they really need to stop the whole "human that transforms into animal" thing. I first saw it in Sacred Stones and I've hated it ever since.
