Some DLC makes sense, some doesn't. DLC should be used as extra levels, chracters, etc. as content created after the game. They shouldn't be making content pre-launch and putting it aside.

Makes sense to me. Wii U owners don't buy Fifa, Wii U owners don't get Fifa.

Most of my games are modern, but I'm pretty sure most of the people who played Super Metroid on the SNES got stuck at one point or another, the only difference here is we have plenty of helpful, friendly people willing to lend a hand.

@MrGawain Or in my experience from Ace of Spades, is that if you're outnumbered, build walls, plant mines, cut bridges, and shoot drill guns. Then, you might win despite being outnumbered two to one.

It's going to happen eventually, so I'm not going to fight it.. some pretty decent games are out on the iPad now, so it's not quite the barren console emulator people on sites like these make them out to be.

@WiiURockz Well, by that standard it's a mistake to make Pikmin 3 a Wii U exclusive. It would be nice to see both on both platforms with cross-play like MH3U, but it wouldn't appear that's Nintendo's style.

I think the bug was that there was gay marriage at all. It's men only, and they can have children (not sure if it's adoption or not though) so it sounds to me like the bug was there was gay marriage at all. If not the bug was that women couldn't do it, so it's not like nintendo's being unfair to women or anything, just a lack of testing.
@TenEighty I actually have to agree with you. I've never known any gay person, so I'm always surprised by the sheer amount of demand there is for this stuff.

I assume when you say that same-sex marriages having children you mean adopt, because without some pretty extensive (and probably impossible) surgery, it's impossible for two men to have a child.
@StarDust The original Mass Effect actually allowed women to have a same sex relationship but not men. Not too sure about Mass Effect but odds are both were just glitches.

@Ralizah How would it be better on Wii U? The 3DS and Wii U are so similar the only real difference is preference and graphics.

Love this game on the PC, and it would be a good fit on the 3DS.

@mariobro4 No, developer viewpoint: "The Wii U presents a new audience we've never tried to market to before. We'll give them the full game, but not the DLC as that would present a large risk that's not worth taking."
DLC is not required to make it a full game, DLC is add ons or mini expansions.

@UnseatingKDawg They're being "biased" because they don't know whether or not it's gonna sell. The PS3/Xbox360 audience has proven they will buy the DLC, but Wii/WiiU owners, have not. They should give it a chance, but they are not biased.

@UnseatingKDawg Who ever said they're biased? If they don't think it's cost effective, they aren't required to do it. Companies first priority is to make money, then they are supposed to make us happy.

I would've loved to see it. I liked the Prime series much more than the other metroid games (I didn't play them when they came out so I didn't have nostalgia goggles).

@AceSpadeS Nope, on the PS2 as well as many other PS2 games. They had many more options besides closing the servers, but they're forcing everyone to upgrade.

@Shiryu Star Wars Battlefront 2 is still going (up until a couple of months ago) and it came out something like 8 years ago. MHTri came out 3 years ago. It can't cost that much, and even if it costs a lot 95% of the space goes unused, so they could just cancel those servers. This is just to get people to upgrade :/
