Wow, another 3d Classics game on Nintendo e-shop. They went on about it at the 3ds e-shops launch and then released a couple games. But then it seems they forgot about it. The last 3d Classic I remember them releasing was in February 2012! Kid Icarus, I think?!
@JogurtTheYogurt On the 3ds screens, the game probably looks great. But the gameplay recorded from the 3ds has to be stretched to fit the computers screens which leaves most games on any handheld looking very pixelated. If you play the video in small size instead of big, it will look a lot better because it's closer to fitting the 3ds screens. Also as Five-seveN said, live streaming it over the internet can put a lot of pressure on the computer playing it and could cause it to freeze. Most Internet boxes can't straight away stream Live HD videos without having to load. It's likely they downgraded it so computers wouldn't have a problem loading/streaming it. Technology will need to get a lot better before we can stream Live Nintendo Directs in HD.
I prefer going into a store and knowing what I'm buying. Then it means nothing can go wrong such as incorrect packaging. It doesn't happen often but remember when Wii U launched and Amazon didn't put Nintendo Land in the Premium pack. Luckily they sent them out a download code. I'd be well annoyed if I unboxed my brand new Wii U on launch day and relised it had no game with it. I got my Wii U from good old Game. Also I feel a lot safer paying in store than entering details online. You never know what could happen.
Because I live in the United Kingdom, Nintendo Power was never sold over here, only The Official Nintendo Magazine (ONM). But I feel sorry to all the American fans out there. I hope this doesn't lead to them shutting down ONM.
Even though there is a possibility of this rumour being true, I seriously doubt it is. It came from computerandvideogames.com which can't be a very reliable source because #1.It hasn't ever been correct on a rumour as far as I know #2. It could just be the website trying to get more popularity around the web-Free advertising, I mean it's been featured on Nintendo life-one of the most popular Nintendo news site and probably many more just because of this story.Because of that more people will find out about their website and visit it.
@UnseatingKDawg (Well, my hopes are that Europe won't be left out of this launch. It's just not cool when someone gets left out.)-thanks for being so considerate!
Aquateen510, USA have got about another 4 3dsware games in the e-shop than Europe. We haven't got vvvvvv or Mutant Mudds yet! Finally something new in Europe's e-shop.
