ANY form of censorship is wrong, don't let the industry do the parenting, that's what parents are for (hence the name). Just make sure it's labelled correctly.
Saying that I don't OK senseless violence or sex-scenes, but welcome them if they are in context of the material. Same goes for any form of art or media, be it videogames, movies, music, ... censorship is just wrong. Educate people and everything is fine.

About time they get things going, but this only means one thing: the same old games draught next year around the same time of this year. Why? Even if Nintendo puts out high caliber titles, they cannot sufficiently feed the system with enough games each and every month to come alone, and even IF third party developers finally see the appeal of the Wii U with boosted sales through Nintendos first party efforts, they will just START making games for the system then, it's basically like another botched launch all over again.

But seriously... personally, not in a grander financial business scale: so what? I got my 3DS, might pickup a Wii U soon for my Nintendo fixes and for everything else I have my custom built PC.

One way or the other, I was raised in the 80ies and nudity never was something perverted but natural. None of those pictures shown would be a reason for me to hide them from my children. The more you make something a tabu yourself the worse it actually gets. No "interaction" between characters or really revealing shots are shown, basicly: theres nothing to see you can't also see at some public lake/ocean and if you're kids are not okay with that you're bad at parenting.

I really hope nintendo can get the hype wagon and sales going for Wii U as it did with 3DS. Seriously, 3DS this year is occupying most of my gaming-time. Topping my 360 and even my PC by far in total time played.

Whatever the final decision on this will be, Im just sad that Battlefield goes doesn the COD way. Im so full and sick of modern day military shooters with a "got balls" attitude I cannot find any more words about it.

This game is so much worse than its predecessors, bring torchlight ii, way better game really. Diablo 3 has become call of duty.

• Techbump compared to Wii = great, compared to competition not so
• like many of you said: where are the games? Too little too late
• No consumer awareness, they either don't know it or mistake it for some Wii peripheral
• Nintendo doomed? No, but I honestly think it's their least attractive console in a while!
• If the 3DS hat a second circle pad it would be the perfect console/handheld

Im new to Monster Hunter and I loved the demo. Since I was always interested in the franchise and just waited to get my try on it, I gobbled up on information about the game. While I agree that the demo itself doesn't show you too much about the actual game (heck one of my friends even thought the characters in the demo are the only characters you can choose in the main game and are locked to their weapons) a little bit research and I was perfectly in picture what to expect. I also agree that they should have put screenshots and promotional screens into the demo showing the many many things you can do like crafting and gathering or some online features as the demo as it stands is not very informative to a complete newcomer. Then again I always say its only reasonable to invest some time and research about a game you're looking forward too, that way you always know what to expect.

@Damo while I completely agree with you the lobby bashing videogame violence might - if they followed the same logic as with videogames - disagree because for those people certainly it is enough to be exposed to whatever to trigger a reaction, regardless of free will, education and personality... but that's an whole other story.

@Tsuchiya Well I don't agree, they are one of the best thins you can play on competing consoles/Pc, well if you like shooters that is. They have awesome humor and art direction. But again, tastes are different. And that said Iam not defending Gearbox in any way because if this is true, its a real low blow to the industry, the devteam and fans alike. Shame on you.

Like I said, getting a new console within its first year has been quite the masochistic thing to do since the PS1 in my opinion. Always wait. Always. I grew that mentality on my PC on steam, why get a game on release day if I can get it 25-50% off just after 2 or 3 months? Just wait.

And about the framerate issues, it's not the Wii U's fault, its just a sloppy port. Games used to have a different architecture on current gen, next gen (Wii U, PS4, ..) will ALL use a graphics-heavy architecture. Thats also the reason why the Wii mode on Wii U sucks and PS4 and nextbox won't even bother with backwards compatibility. Because the architecture is vastly different to what was done on current consoles a few years now already.

I mean come on. My attention stopped at "Sony..." .

Well no matter if you like the franchise/type of game or not, this is horrible, because it is ANOTHER lackluster game for the Wii U, which could have been really good.

And no this will definitely be not the end of gearbox. They are going strong and their Borderlands franchise is popular as hot chocolate. Good games too!

And @bahooney even if some devs/publishers f-up at times, you should never wish them to fail and go down the drain. It's people working their, losing their jobs, needing to feed their families who most likely cannot argue with a management decisions above their heads, besides, the LESS devs the WORSE it will become because in the end there will only be activision nintendo microsoft game studios and ea with their respective studios. I don't get how anyone could wish for LESS diversity.

Here is castlevania in a nutshell: The Belmonts fight Dracula and his minions for generations already, but there might be more to that, which you will explore in this game. End.

Love it, like I said on the forums, 2013 - rise of the Indies - if big publishers fail to support Wii U, all the Indies will find a comfy home on Nintendo's "U" .

Wasnt this a big subject in the forums lately? I honestly don't care but still think its wrong to just skip one method of controls if they are

• in place since the original Wii being advertised as the "next thing" in controls
• all the hardware is mostly there with the users anyways

I also think it will most likely be release dates for games without one yet (EU that is) instead of something big as last Wii U direct.
