Is this version any better than the mega drive version? I downloaded the mega drive version but it seemed to dated and err... a bit crap lol.

This game is really good but i wud prefer it if the superior N64 version was released to the VC instead. Everything about it was improved over the original especially the graphics, the music and sound was better, and it had more games, but it still had the same feeling of the original in terms of gameplay which is partly why i loved the N64 version so much.

This is an amazing snowboarding game and i think it has very similar qualities to wave race 64 in terms of how the movement and control of your charachter seems to feel and react realistically. However i am the proud ownwer of its amazing and improved sequel 1080 Avalanche which is faster and better graphics but stills manages to retain the amazing feel of the N64 version. A classic

It may have been good back in those days but then we could,nt compare it to the standard of quality with 2D fighting games in the early to mid 90s such as Street Fighter 2 or Killer instinct and Mortal Kombat. Compared to them is just an absoulute pile of Rubbish end of story.

Its a real shame that we are getting crap like this on the VC. we dont get many N64 games then we got to put up with this rubbish when there are much better games that could have come to the VC. Who ever had the idea to bring this to the VC should be very ashamed.

Well ok then Will we are all entitled to our own opinion. If you get enjoyment out of playing aincient games with 2 frames of animation per fighting move then please yourself. But your wrong about my first games machine. I started my gaming career with a commadore Vic 20 when i was about 5 years old and used to love games such as space invaders and that snake game where the snake gets longer ect ect... But they just wouldnt do it for me anymore. Oh and by the way my first console was a nes then every nintendo console after up to the Wii. Never bothered with playstation cos i dont think they are reliable enough.

It really bugs me that medicore games like this are being released on the VC when there are much better N64 games that we could have had instead, such as pilotwings 64, Goldeneye, Donkey Kong 64 and many more. Be another 4 weeks or more now before we see what crap N64 game we are getting next. Although there are some good N64 games on there. We,ll be waiting a lifetime before the N64s catalouge is complete. i wont be Downloading this game for sure. I would advice anyone to get F-zero x, Mario kart 64,1080 snowboarding or Wave Race 64. They are all top qualtiy and worth downloading. Dont let Nintendo rip you of with crap like Cruis,n USA

I used to play this game on my freinds mega Drive and i found it very addictive and fun. ive been waiting ages for it to come to the VC. It has nice graphics, catchy sound and i also found the game quite challenging and makes you keep wanting another go. The power up weapons are cute and fun to use. This game is is well worth downloading for a good blast.

This was only a small improvment over sonic1 in my eyes but still i consider it to be the best out of the 3 sonic games.

I still remember seeing this game for the first time at a freinds house and could not beleive the speed i was seeing. Its where sonic started and its still a good platform game to play with nice colours, good speed and challenging platform action.

I still remember buying this game back in my SNES day when i was just a kid and i played it all the time. How very fortunate it is that it has come to the VC as soon as it has. I downloaded it as soon as i saw it. One of the best games ive ever played. Brilliant action, sound effects, music and bosses. A classic.

Good point Dazza. I find that i dont even need to save my games on the VC. All you have to do is press menu on the wii remote and next time you access the game the VC holds it right where you left of even if your half way through a level on castlevania or any other game.

I always enjoyed playing Wave Race for my N64. The graphics are very colourful and the water looked and felt realistic. The handling was really good and i loved the way you have to adapt to varying weather conditions. However, i wont download it simply because i am the proud owner of its sequel Waverace Bluestorm for the Gamecube. In my opinion Bluestorm retained all the elements which made the N64 version such an enjoyable racing game such as the brilliant handling of the jet-ski over varying water conditions, the sunny colourful feeling to the game and the challenging gameplay. Bluestorm is an improvement over the N64 version but its still a classic racer and i highly recommend it to anyone looking to download a decent racing game.

Jamie- if you loved the SNES pilotwings then im pretty sure you wont be dissapointed with the N64 version. In my opinion its one of the best sequels ever made as well as being in my top five games ever. The more you play it the more addicted you get.The flying is awsome in pilotwings64. Oh and by the way, with a lot of dedication i managed to get a perfect score on every single test in the game so see if you or anyone reading here can match that and i will be impressed.

I downloaded it cos i thought it would be fun because i remember playing it on an arcade when i was a kid and thought it was great. How times have changed. When i started playing it i soon realized OH NO this is awful. Its so crap i was gutted i spent my 800 wii points on it.

hey Deggs Super Ghouls n Ghosts for the SNES was not near impossible by any means. Dont get me wrong it was a tough game to complete but with a bit of practice, patience and trial and error i found that you could quite easily get through the game. What ruined the SNES version was having to play through it a second time with a rubbish weapon in order to get to the last boss. But i just used the cheat warp.

Not only was this the first Zelda game that i played but was also the first RPG style game that i had ever played. I will always remember this game as one of the best gaming experiances that i ever had. I am 29 years of age now so i was only a young boy when i played through it and i fondly remember scratching my head several times with some of the brilliant puzzles, and then feeling a great sense of acheivment, satisfaction and appreiciation when you cracked it. When i started the game i was very curious as to what the game would be like and little did i know that i would end up becoming a huge fan of the zelda franchise to this day. I rate this game as on a par with Ocarina of time but personally always prefered OOT. Truly an epic adventure which deserves all the praise it has ever had.

When i first played this it felt so fast and intense to play. F-zero became more enjoyable to me as i got better at the controls. Its a very challenging game when played on the master setting and i played it to death untill i completed every course. I downloaded it instantly and still enjoy playing it to this day.

DKC 2 is one of the best platform game i have ever played with very nice graphics lovely music and a whopping challenge. I downloaded this gem instantly even though i have a copy for SNES as well as a copy of DK3 its good to play without having to pull the ancient machine out of my cuboard. I am really looking forward to DK3 coming to the wii. Then i intend to complete both of them but this time find more secrets than i ever did in my SNES days. I am also looking forward to downloading DK64 for the N64 cos ive never played it.

I dowloaded VF2 just out of curiosity. What a waste of my sweet 800 points. Its not worth 1 point never mind a rip off 800. The graphics were not to bad considering the hardware limitations but the fighters have had had loads of moves taken away. Its nowhere near as good as the saturn version.

Super metroid for the SNES was the first metroid game i had ever played and i became very addicted to it and its amazing sense of exploration and atmosphere. I have completed it several time but not in a long time so i am looking forward to downloading this gem. However i do not rate it as a better game than MP or MP2 echoes simply because the boss fights were far to easy in super metroid especially the last boss i could beat it with my eyes shut. In MP and MP2 the boss fights were a real on the edge of your seat adrenaline pumped battle to the end but still retained all the elements that made super metroid a classic.

sashaboo commented on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time:

Ocarina of time is so amazing i dont think i could ever get fed up of playing through it as long as i leave it a long time before going through it again. I wont be dowloading it though as i already have it on cartridge and on a cube disc coupled with the amazing masters quest version. I thought it was better than twighlit princess by far due to the fact that twilight princess was way to easy with a very poor last level, and last boss.

Castlevania for the snes is one of the best platform games i have ever played. The graphics and music were very good at the time and still look and sound good to this day. I downloaded with no hesitation. I think anyone who compares this game to super ghouls and ghosts is out of there mind. That game was so much more fustrating than super castlevania and is nowhere near as good
