Re: Talking Point: Does Sega's AGES Announcement Mean The Virtual Console Is Dead?

saiyantrunks79

I feel this is something that Nintendo should still pursue. Virtual console titles are available on the 3DS, so it should be a matter of time before they are ported to the Switch. While this is good for first party support, they should also consider partnering with studios for old third party titles as well. New deals and partnerships have been created with many of these companies. It can't hurt them to explore the idea of having these companies port old software titles in addition to the new ones they are working on.

Re: Battle Chasers: Nightwar Approved For Nintendo Switch, Release Date Still To Come

I read about this game a couple of years ago. Even then I was eager to get my hands on it. There was no mention of the Switch as a console at the time, so I expected I'd be playing it on my Xbox. When news came that it was coming to Switch, I set money aside to buy it day one. It's been nearly a year since that news hit, and I'm still waiting. The release day can't come soon enough for me.

Re: Feature: Nintendo Switch Year One: A Review

I'm so glad this system is doing well. The first party stuff so far has been great, and the enormous amount of indie titles more than fills the gap for third party. Sure, some triple A studios are still holding back and people are mad about that, but honestly I don't see this as a bad thing. Nintendo is standing on their own, and they are standing tall.

Re: Nintendo Is Announcing "A New Way To Play" Later Today

I'm hoping this has something to do with amiibo. Their usefulness on the Switch has been pretty lackluster at this point, and it would be nice if they did something more deliberate with them. That said, I predict this will be more along the lines of mobile gaming. The console has all it needs to play mobile titles.

Re: Nintendo Keeps Changing The Nintendo Switch Online Service Launch Date

saiyantrunks79

I'm not worried about this right now. Nintendo doesn't have the online capability of Microsoft or Sony, but they don't have all the backing for it either. They are building it their way. It will launch when it's ready, and it will most likely be pretty good. The Switch is a strong system so far, with no signs of slowing down. It's just one more big thing in the pipeline to look forward to.

Re: Free-To-Play MOBA Arena Of Valor Is Fighting Towards Switch

I had no idea this game was so huge. I figured it was something up and coming, like Dawngate was a few years back. Honestly this game excites me and I can't wait to play it. This could also be the first step towards an idea I read a while back on another site. I'll share the link for you guys to check out as well. http://www.joystikrevolution.com/smash-world-switch-edition/
Honestly if Nintendo ever made an in house MOBA, I would fall over. They might need to find better communication methods for it, but it would be awesome to play all the same. So excited for the future as a Switch owner.
