They should first get the eShop to actually, you know, work most of the time. Very often I get errors and yesterday I had to reset my Wii U because it got stuck in the eShop loading screen. Those download speeds are also laughably bad and it's one of the reasons why I don't buy any big, retail games from there.

That price is fair considering that this is a fully featured workstation based on the legendary M1-synth. This is not anything like Rytmik, which is very basic for serious music-making. Saving the MIDI-files on a SD-card means that it's also possible to continue working with the files on your computer software. Great. Definitely getting this as soon as it's released over here.

Already bought Balloon fight and will get the others too. Super Metroid and F-Zero for only 30 cents? Crazy. But why exactly are they offering SNES games too - I thought this campaign was about Famicom's 30th anniversary?

The demo had a horrible framerate plus there's no support for the gamepad-screen. Really lazy work from the developers. I'll just get the Steam-version instead when it goes on sale, if it's any better.

Fruits and a carrot obviously means that there's going to be a new Yoshi game where Yoshi also eats... a carrot that turns him/her/it into a rabbit (!). It will have a cameo by non-specific action figure and it's going to be released next Christmas.

Fun game for a while but you need other people to get the most out of it. I would probably give this a 7/10, since the single player hasn't kept me interested for long. Wouldn't pay 60 euros for Nintendo Land, good thing I got it with the premium pack. Soundtrack is very good, though - nice remixes of older classic songs.

Laughable prices but this is Nintendo, so nothing new here. Downloadable games should be 35 euros top. I won't be needing any extra HDD - I just buy my games in physical form and only download smaller titles, like Nano Assault.

I'll just get the deluxe/premium-bundle for now. Nintendo Land should keep me occupied for a while. But very good line-up - I would say it's better than what 3DS and even Wii had, although many of those multiplatform-games apparently have framerate-problems.

Nothing for me this week it seems. Pilotwings and all the other retail downloads are way overpriced. It's a good idea to offer these bigger games on the eShop but until the prices are reduced significantly, I don't really see a point in buying any of them. I can get the boxed versions for much less.

I might get Animal Crossing in digital form, though, because it suits that game very well. But otherwise I just keep buying the cartridges.

Backwards compatibility is a big bonus for me. I have tons of Wii games that I haven't completed, so I can play them on Wii U when there's no interesting new games released. I also don't have to keep my Wii on the desk anymore, so that saves some space.

mrkuribo commented on Wii Music Returns to UK All-Format Top 40:

Wii Music is actually a pretty good "game". I bought it at launch and spent many hours making my own arrangements of the different tunes. Very underrated title but it's probably because you kinda have to know something about music to fully enjoy it - it's not a rhythm game or a game at all really. They should make a sequel for Wii U that uses the motionplus, would be even better then.

mrkuribo commented on GameCube is Ten Years Old Today in Europe:

I got GameCube (the black one) at launch along with Luigi's Mansion. Nice game but just too short - thankfully the sequel should have more content :). There was some really amazing games released for that little box, like Wind Waker (probably my favourite Zelda-game), Resident Evil 4 and TimeSplitters 2 (which I played A LOT).

mrkuribo commented on Sakurai: Dual Analogue Control in Kid Icarus: ...:

The controls are fine. Kid Icarus couldn't really work that well with analog aiming anyway because it's so hectic. I had problems when I first started to play but adjusting the reticle speed really helped a lot. ALWAYS CHECK THE OPTIONS before starting to play your games, people :). I do sometimes get some hand pain but it's quite common with 3DS anyway since the system itself is so uncomfortable to hold. I think that those complaining about the stylus controls are probably same folk who don't understand motion controls and play FPS games with dual analog....

I'm getting Colors! 3D this week then. Not going to buy the video since I already saw it once for free. I would pay for Shaun the Sheep episodes though, if I could then keep them on my 3DS. Sucks that you can't watch the older episodes again....

mrkuribo commented on Feature: How 3DS Brings a New Dimension to the...:

@Mahe Yeah, 3DS is a very poorly designed console. Even the 3d effect is pretty useless because you can't keep the screen steady while playing games. There must be a revision coming at some point to fix at least some of those hardware problems. But the software is of course very good, otherwise I wouldn't use my 3DS much :).

I picked this up today. I love the cheesy dialogue and the music is really epic (no wonder since Yuzo Koshiro, Yasunori Mitsuda etc. composed the soundtrack). Controls aren't the best but they're very customizable which I like. Haven't tried the stand yet but I can't see myself playing this game for long periods without it.

I downloaded this game today and really like it so far - very fun and reminds me of Zelda a bit. The controls aren't perfect but otherwise I have no big problems with this. I would give Dillon an 8 or 9/10.
