Mollutje commented on The Wonderful 101 Launch Dates Revealed:

I'm still gonna go for Rayman I'm afraid.. unfortunate timing on the release date I'm afraid. Doesn't mean I won't be getting TW101 eventually, but I'm simply too stoked for Rayman Legends. Ah well, with NSLU and Pikmin on the horizon there's plenty to keep me entertained.

I was planning on buying some more credit for my Wii U to buy Runner 2, but it seems that won't be necessary now. Also, never played super metroid.. might as well pick it up now. I've heard some great things about it, so for this price.. I'd be a fool to skip it.

Well.. if it's pure fun with no filler then this might just be a good thing. I finished nano assault in a day as well, but I expect to come back to that game a fair number of times too, so this might not be a problem. However, I'm not sure if this game has that arcade-like infinite playability to it. When does it even come out by the way?

Mollutje commented on New Legend Of Zelda Title Confirmed For Ninten...:

Wasn't too sure if I liked the top down perspective, I was expecting the new 3DS Zelda to be more.. well.. 3D. But after a nice long look at the trailer on my 3DS I'm convinced this was a very good idea. It looks like a more back-to-basics approach, but it seems to work surprisingly well with the 3D effect.

I highly doubt they'll announce another Zelda remake with WW HD coming up for the Wii U. I'd love to hear about some new titles though. At the same time, I don't expect a lot of announcements for new games out of this one. Still looking forward to it though.

I was never upset with the people actually involved in making the game, and I'm still very much excited for it, but yeah.. I still feel a little bit betrayed by Ubisoft. Still though, I can't say no to such a massive load of extra content. I really hope this game will be as good as the demo made it out to be.

Noice! I do hope we get a demo too, because I'm still not quite certain if my eyes can handle this game. It looks like tons of fun, but I found some gameplay video's quite hard to follow. It was just a blur to me.

@moo99 I have met plenty of people in my life who couldn't keep a steady beat going, just like I met plenty of people who were completely tone deaf. I'm not saying you can't be trained to become better at it, but yes, I would say some people are naturally better at keeping rhythm.

Wow, nice statement. Good to see the actual developers displeased with the recent turn of events. I'm not too confident this statement will make a difference, but I certainly appreciate their willingness to take a stand against it.

Mollutje commented on Rayman Legends No Longer a Wii U Exclusive, De...:

Well.. there goes a whole chunk of respect for Ubisoft.. They'd better not scrap the cool Gamepad-based gameplay for this one! I was looking forward to this so much! A delay I can stomach, but a delay ánd the news that it's coming out for the other platforms as well is just crap..

Mollutje commented on Nintendo Download: 30th November 2012 (Europe)...:

Nice.. there's already a bunch of downloadable titles I'd love to sink my teeth into. Question though, how am I supposed to purchase these titles without a credit card? Will there be prepaid cards available just like the ones for the 3DS?

Mollutje commented on Review: New Super Mario Bros. U (Wii U):

Throwin' me a Wii U party next week (if everything goes according to plan), so I bet this and Nintendo Land should be enough to keep me and my pals entertained. I'm curious about the difficulty level though. They had some serious trouble with the later stages of NSMBWii, so I wonder if we'll even get through this one in multiplayer.

Mollutje commented on The Wii U CPU Is "Horrible" According To Metro...:

Such mixed signals.. one developer praises it, the other utterly destroys it.. I just don't know what to think anymore. I'll just take solace in the fact that the games shown to work on the console give the impression it's just fine. Now if only the 3rd party developers could stick around longer than on the Wii.. that'd be just great.

Mollutje commented on Rayman Legends Demo Available In Wii U eShop O...:

A Rayman demo? Nice! It breaks my heart to see Origing in the budget bin every time I enter my local game store. It had its flaws, but overall that game was really fantastic. I hope the amount of attention it's gotton from being this promising WiiU exclusive will help out both the WiiU sales and the game itself.

Mollutje commented on New Super Mario Bros. U To Jump Into DLC:

I don't mind since Nintendo's approaches DLC in a more fair way than a company like EA for instance. I only bought the nerve wrack pack for nsmb2 since that one seemed the only one to give some significant new experience to the game, but I think it's a pretty neat little add-on for those who'd like more levels.

Mollutje commented on Wii U Version Of Mighty Switch Force Much Hard...:

Mighty Switch Force wasn't thát easy.. sure it wasn't too difficult to beat the levels, but doing so within the time limit required some quick thinking at times. I'm probably not getting the Wii U version, as the 3D felt really important to the game's overall atmosphere. Plus, an additional difficulty setting's just not enough incentive to buy the game again. I will say though that I really loved it on 3DS and I'm looking forward to future WayForward games.

Mollutje commented on 3DS Passes Eight Million Sales in Japan:

Holy crap it's doing well in Japan! I wish Europe was equally crazy about it. Hopefully the holiday season will be a nice boost in systems sold. The more success the platform has, the more developers are interested in creating content for it. Meanwhile the Vita's having a rather hard time. I know the 3ds had a rocky start as well, but the Vita's up to a point where one could wonder if it'll ever recover.

Mollutje commented on Wii U Deluxe Set Selling Like Hot Cakes:

I pre ordered it the day the European release date was announced, so I should be allright. I don't think the pre-orders sold out here though, but it's still nice to be confident you'll get your hands on it soon enough.

Mollutje commented on Wii U External Hard Drive Usage Outlined by Sa...:

I'm probably not going to use the eShop to download retail titles, so I may not even end up buying a hard drive for my Wii U. I bet I can store a decent amount of eShop games like Toki Tori and the like on the 32gb. Still, it's obviously a good thing to be able to give it that much more storage.

Nano Assault really looks amazing! Shin'en seems to be rather dedicated to making quality games, unlike UFO Interactive for instance, so I applaud Shin'en for that and I'm greatly looking forward to the release of Nano Assault on 3ds and Wii U.

Mollutje commented on Review: Paper Mario: Sticker Star (3DS):

Well, that's certainly a lot higher than the 2/5 GameXplain gave it. Seems most other reviewers seem to rather like it thusfar. I've personally been enthralled by everything I've seen of it thusfar, and by the little bit of time I got playing it at an event, so I'll be sure to buy it.

Mollutje commented on Nintendo Is Holding Back Wii U Titles To Maint...:

Yeah, I think it makes sense. I don't know if Rayman Legends is one of those games they held back, but not having it compete with a certain other sidescrolling platformer would do them both good I guess. Plus, there's a load of games for Wii U that interest me, so I actually prefer them not being handed to me all at once.

Mollutje commented on n-Space Not Happy With Heroes Of Ruin Sales Fi...:

I had a decent time with it, but it was a little bit too generic, way too easy and the visuals were quite.. well.. lazy at some points, especially the characters looked bad. I don't regret picking it up altogether, but it's a pretty forgettable game, so I can understand they lack of commercial success.

Well.. nothing too shocking here.. I'm kind of bummed out by the fact that they didn't give us a more in depth look at Luigi's Mansion. Gives me the impression it'll still be a while before they release it in 2013.

Mollutje commented on MCV: Wii U Is A Stopgap System, Real Successor...:

I call bull.. people would be seriously pissed off if Nintendo were to release a new console only two years or so from now, so nobody would buy it. Also, development for this baby was started quite a while before the 3ds was released, I reckon, so I find it highly unlikely that they simply rushed this one out the door to make up for poor sales. There's a lot of cool new ways of gaming to explore on this system, and it's got plenty of horsepower to keep me entertained, so no.. not buyin' this story. Not at all.
