I just received my japanese wii. Tried plugging the power supply into the UK socket using a simple universal plug adaptor and the thing popped... stupid me then read the back to see it said 110v only, not 110-240... So i've ordered a 110-240 power supply off amazon. Luckily i plugged the power supply alone into the wall, it wasnt connected to the wii at the time.

I tried the gamecube power supply, but it doesn't fit or supply enough Amps.
