Well if it's the same team as Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 which i'm sure it is by Christmas they'll have had at least 3 years on the game but i suspect it could be easily up to 5 years because i'm sure the whole EAD team wasn't needed for Galaxy 2 so i imagine the team was split after Galaxy 1 a small team worked on Galaxy 2 while a bigger team started work on the next game,

This is all just speculation but if this is true then they've had plenty of time on the new game and Nintendo don't usually have playable versions of games years before a release so i'd say this is highly likely.

By the way can someone tell me why Wii U game files are so friggin large?! For example on competing consoles Assassins Creed III is 6gb on Wii U it's something like 12 - 15gb i forget exactly is their any reasonable explanation for why these files are so much larger?

I'll definitely give it a go never played it myself but all the buzz about the game it's definitely something i want to try... Hopefully won't take to long for the UK version to be released also.

@Tobias95 Artificial restrictions that's it that's why most handhelds up until the 3DS have been region free because there isn't region code for handhelds Nintendo trying to alleviate the rampart piracy of the DS days (which so far has worked as far as i know the 3DS still hasn't been hacked) impose an artificial restriction that stops games from other regions working.

@Starwolf_UK Have you never played a JRPG before? In Japan most of the time when talking to someone people will refer to the person by there second name infact unless you are very close to the person it is considered extremely rude to call someone by their first name in Japanese culture...

@shake_zula If that loading time is "unbearable" these people you talk about clearly have no patience... That is really fast, about the same speed as exiting out of a game of an average to good PC... Probably a little better. Takes about the same time as my Xbox 360 probably actually a little faster the new loading screen is by no means slow.

This was quick! i'm impressed now looks like it gets to the main menu way faster then my 360 does... my 360 only has 30gbs of it's 250gb HD space left so that could be factor... still i'm more then happy with 8 seconds... The loading screens didn't particularly bother before now i won't even notice them.

Been waiting for this game since i got my Wii U! glad it turned out good! Cannot wait to play!

Word from the wise (IE someone whose played this game) this is not a great game and certainly not one to get excited for, the platforming was really poor and slightly floaty in a very dissatisfying way also the game was just boring, trust me guys you aren't missing much just replay Mario you'll have more fun i guarantee you.

@Jukilum Unlike Sony, Nintendo aren't part of the Blu-ray consortium meaning that in order to have a Blu-ray player built in Nintendo would have to purchase rights to use the device from the consortium and also pay royalties on top of that for each system purchased for a company like Nintendo who's only income is video games it makes very little sense to be paying all those royalties, especially when those royalties are in part going in to the pockets or a rival.

@Astro Not likely your graphics card Minecraft "can" be CPU intensive and also requires a fare amount of RAM to run, your graphics card shouldn't be an issue with Minecraft, So i would suggest either your CPU speed is not fast enough or you have a really small amount of RAM...

Anyway as far as Minecraft is concerned not that bothered if it turns up on Wii U or not simply because ever since Mojang implemented the single player is really multiplayer aspect the game has just gotten worse performance "can" be sluggish and world generation is painfully slow... Atleast on my computer which used to run Minecraft without a sweat... I haven't played Minecraft since that version came out and still have no desire too

@Roynerer Nope sorry your wrong you don't have to go far to discover that the PS4 store will not have PS3 games in the cloud it's to do with the architecture of the PS4 which is completely different to that of the PS3 and thus PS4's will be unable to play PS3 games Sony already confirmed this. Getting this in april unfortunately got afford it when it comes out >.> Still not 100% sold wasn't keen on the original Wii Version because there where to many loading screens that is still an issue but they are much faster now...

My other problem is the hunt in the demo version of the game took me almost the entire time hitting almost constantly that seems like such a ridiculous length of time... I imagine this is much easier when there are more players by your side but on my own it did get tedious by the end.

Can't wait for this game Day one purchase for sure! Can't wait to have something to play with my Fancy Wii U I love it but it isn't getting much playtime right now... But frankly i'm not playing games at all right now... So yeah

@edhe 2K are generally really good at supporting every platform and both of there current sports games are out on Wii U.

WWE '12 and '13 both had Online passes and season pass DLC but they where just extra wrestlers on top of the 84 already included in the game and frankly i'll buy DLC for extra wrestlers as long as the roster is as big as it was when it first started.

@Peach64 I don't recall saying the Fifa games where poor? I'm sure they're a great to the people who like football but that doesn't change the fact that Fifa 13 is pretty much identical to the games that came before it...

@rossy771 Yukes only work on WWE games (they did do UFC 3 too) and as far as i'm aware where 100% owned by THQ therefore had 2K or another company dropped them like Visceral (sadly) the more then 100 developers who work at Yukes would also be on the unemployment line.

@AbeVigoda WWE '12 and WWE '13 where both great wrestling games they have there issues but they where still great games. You only have to go look up reviews for those games (particularly WWE '13) to find out that i'm right.

Look at EA games they improve slower then WWE does, the people that buy Fifa, Madden, Tiger Woods etc have been buying the same game since the HD era began! They haven't changed in 6 years! and yet they are a better solution then 2K whose games have consistently improved since the HD era began?

It's amazing how much Yukes have managed to do working on a game in 1 year, Universe mode is fantastic there creation sweet is consistently improving and Attitude Era mode was great, I'm curious have you even played WWE 13? I really don't think you have...

Yukes have done more with WWE under THQ then EA ever did with there various sport franchise... 2K is a great home for WWE and they made the right choice by keeping on Yukes and bringing in one of there own teams to help them out.

The WWE franchise was one of THQ's best sellers for years WWE 13 sold more copies then Darksiders 2 too did don't just make crap up because you think it supports your point of view! @P184 Nintendo have consistently said they're "working on" virtual console support in the main Wii U interface and would also like to add functionality for away from TV play (AKA on the Wii U GamePad) I can wait as soon as they release Mario 64 (i stupidly sold my Wii and lost all of my VC and WiiWare stuff which was a significant amount) but i will certainly buy at least Mario 64 and Super Mario World again as long as playing on my GamePad is an option

Rayman Legends and Lego City I just adore that music level on the Rayman demo i hope there is more of those... Lego City just looks insanely good ^^ was one of the driving factors for me when i bought my Wii U so i'm hoping it'll be out late feb or early march both would be great and will tide me over too GTA V which sadly i'll be picking up on my xbox for a variety of reasons not least of all online play but also because Rockstar hasn't talked about the Wii U at all apart from "maybe"

@mozie No that's not true a PC with 4gb's of RAM will run as quick as anything when there's nothing on it's Harddrive but once the Harddrive gets to being full loading times drastically slow down... I'm not saying that that would carry over to the Wii U however my Friends premium black Wii U "seemed" to run much faster then the white Wii U in the video however i only used it for an hour so i wouldn't know for sure, i was just carrying over facts about PC over to the Wii U which i think as far as behavior with systems in general is something you can assume but not claim as fact which i never did.

I think it's awesome that Nintendo are making sure indie developers get an easy place to place there games and i am definitely buying little inferno on the day i get my Wii U in a couple of weeks.

When i get my Wii U in a couple of weeks Little Inferno and Hyper Switch Force are definitely being bought the second that damn hellish long update finishes.

She was using the basic and from what i've seen the Basic is noticeably more sluggish... which probably has something to do with it having so little free memory, It's like when you have a PC and it's running low on Storage i suspect a similar thing is happening with the Basic model... Don't get me wrong it's pretty sluggish on the premium version too but in my opinion it's MUCH worse on the basic...

@TheKingofTown Well obviously not... It wasn't powerful enough too handle them nor did it have many traditional inputs for games... Seriously if your going to make a comment at least make it meaningful.

The lack of traditional controller was what put a lot of developers because it was a headache binding there increasingly complicated games on to less buttons then they had on 360 and PS3.

Probably going to buy this when i get my Wii U in january as i didn't finish it on 360 by January though i think i'll be ready to play it properly

By your logic the UK shoudn't fall under this either as we have one of the most laid back rating system in the world and we are rated by PEGI and still we have to deal with a time lock system.
