Great write-up Tom. I've owned every Nintendo handheld since the Gameboy Color and haven't looked back since. Nintendo's handhelds will always be king of portable gaming and there have been some handheld Nintendo titles that just as good if not better than console counterparts and console games in general.

Holy cow, I knew CN would have tons of cool rewards in Feb. and I'm not disappointed. So much cool stuff!

Just to clear up confusion, you can still redeem coins from older games that came out before Jan. 20. That includes retail and digital titles.

Haven't played the demo yet but I'm 99% sure I'll love the game. I'm glad it's getting so much positive reception. I just find it funny that the same folks who demand new IPs like this from Nintendo all the time are so quick to shoot it down.

Whatever, I'm sure S.T.E.A.M. will be good enough to spawn a new series itself. :)

Great move by Nintendo by not only putting the MPT on the eShop, but putting on the eShop for only $10 during the first week. Can't say I feel sorry for people who sell games for astronomical prices. I understand wanting to gain some profit but some MPT prices I've seen are insane.

I'll be downloading it day 1 on eShop. Probably the best deal in gaming since The Orange Box.

Just like DLC, there's a good approach to microtransactions and then there's the bad. Looking at Steel Diver and Rusty's RD Baseball, it seems like Nintendo knows what they're doing when it comes to microtransactions. Just like they've handled DLC very well thus far.

I voted for S.T.E.A.M. and Splatoon. Not only will these be great multiplayer titles, the single player campaigns will be very good too. (Just judging on developers behind each game).

These are two new IPs that I hope take off and become their own series. With all the people demanding new IPs from Nintendo, I expect these games to sell very well.

Devil's Third looks cool too.

I want Wario and Ness in wave 4 but still plan on picking up Yoshi and Kirby.I think Amiibos is pretty solid thus far, especially considering it's barely kicked off not that long ago.

It'll only improve going forward. They should definitely make it so if you can have more save files on a amiibo. It's not a deal breaker for me but a slight annoyance.

Errr...what? Even after tax, shipping(some sites offer free shipping if you're order is about $25-35 or more, so this may not even count), AC Adapter(which should cost you about $10 if you don't have one already) and a game, it should be only coming out to ~$250(in that neighborhood).

KryptoKrunch commented on Nintendo Steps Away From The Brazilian Market:

Err.. yeah, the Brazil situation is not even close to EU. No crazy taxes for EU + EU sees WAAAAY more sales for Nintendo compared to Brazil. lol.

I'm not surprised to see this actually. Console prices are crazy in Brazil, so it's not like Nintendo could've been making enough profit. I'm sure we'll get a "Nintendo iz d00med" article about it though.

You're right. According to VGChartz, each F-Zero game sold less and less. People pretend F-Zero is a popular Nintendo franchise, but it's not.

The F-Zero content in the MK8 DLC is a good start, but I'd like to see an HD remake of the GC F-Zero as someone suggested already. Depending on sales of the remake, then they can decide on a new F-Zero.

KryptoKrunch commented on Feature: The Biggest 3DS Games of 2015:

Majora's Mask 3D, Codename STEAM, SMT Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker, Dementium and Xenoblade for me, I'll probably pick up MH4U and Story of Seasons too. Seems like a pretty solid year for the 3DS.
