Koos commented on Mario & Sonic Win Olympic Bronze in UK Charts:
Koos commented on Namco's Harada: Smash Bros. Design is Sakurai'...:
They should add one of the ghosts from Pacman, not pacman itself.
Koos commented on Take a Look at These Nintendo DS Testing Machines:
Awesome stuff from Nintendo. I guess they took it Through a war too to see it stands the Game boy test oF surviving live fire.
Koos commented on Michael Pachter Doubts 3DS XL's Powers of Revival:
Like was explained before he is not reliable (analysts rarely are). The article also explains that he is an analyst for webbdush securities a financial services and investment firm. So I hope no one ludicrously claims this time that he is a journalist and not an analyst and therefore supposes to be more credible lol. Obviously he specifically discusses share prices and hypotheses of the FS. Vegas next.
Koos commented on Here's a Freakyforms Deluxe Launch Trailer:
This is such a great game my favorite o the eshop. Could be great as DLC expansion
Koos commented on Nintendo Confirms Financial Loss for First Qua...:
@slapshot wrong. Capcom thought it was well I think they know better and what do you men big budgeted game? Not that big. Its a wii game and for Japan. It is the best selling MH ever in the west. PS2 had better install base and sold worse. It is a great achievement.
Koos commented on Nintendo Financial Results: Console and Softwa...:
@Thomas you mean half a million quarter not a year. It can easily sell 3 million more in 2 years.
20 million 3D's systems already our there. Wow. THats impressive. 100 million wiis and 150 Ds Nintendo really manages to push hardware. Billion games for Wii and 3ds is pretty amazing too. Nintendo needs to push that 50 million number for 3ds hopefully it succeeds.
Koos commented on Kirby's 20th Anniversary Collection Tops Japan...:
These are amazing numbers for Kirby. Wiis numbers still impressive too considering everyone is supposed to already have one.
I'm always amazed at the amount of games people want. For me there are always too many games. . recently we saw Kid Icarus and Mario Tennis and FF TheaterRhythm And now KH and also Heroes of Ruin anD Rhythm Thief and LegoBatman and Spiderman if that's your thing and Order up and crush3d And Origins and bombmonkey and art of balance and marvel pinball.... and in addition to all the exisitng titles that are well known (MK, SML3D , ocarina, RE:R, Shadow Wars, DoA , pushmo, freakyforms must own)And games coming soon like Nsmb2 and Luigi mansion 2...
MH Tri actually sold very well in the west. Capcom said they were happy with the numbers. Vgchaetz though dunno if unreliable says 550,000 in NA. 1 million in Japan doubled to two worldwide. And there this here on the website. <a rel="external" href="http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2010/05/monster_hunter_3_a_roaring_sales_success_in_uk">http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2010/05/monster_hunter_3_a_roaring_sales_success_in_uk</a>So it makes perfect sense to release the next installments on wii u or 3ds in the west and apparently they are. Announcements soon they say.
Btw, the quote about insanity is actually misattributed to Einstein.
Koos commented on Bing Gordon: Nintendo's 'On Track' to Primaril...:
Japanese gaming will die off completely if Nintendo stops making hardware. Western juggernauts will develop the big budgeted stuff and stuff like Mario and Zelda will no longer stand out like Sega's franchises no longer do. Sony is doomed in and of itself. I think Nintendo will thrive. I have faith.
Koos commented on WayForward is Making a Hotel Transylvania Tie-...:
Animation film not by Disney/Pixar? Pass.
Koos commented on Review: Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations, Al...:
Yeah I wish it was available in U.S and as eshop. The original is great.Very fun I would say best eshop title even.
Koos commented on Satoru Iwata: 'We Have Not Changed Our Strategy':
Yeah the attitude of Iwata and also Reggie and others is a major factor that keeps my confidence in the company. This is solid management and I'm talking also from the investment angle.
Koos commented on Apple Co-Founder is a Tetris Master:
Him carrying around GB lights is very interesting.
Koos commented on Nintendo Offering Incentives for Retail Downlo...:
Pretty sure there will be incentives in NA too
Koos commented on Tekken Tag Tournament 2 on Wii U to Have 'Nint...:
Yeah i hope that part was lost in translation or something because if something is dumbed down Nintendo should just stop releasing third party games on its platforms unless they contract not to be so stupid.
Koos commented on Pokémon and 3DS Still Top of the Japanese Charts:
Nice to see a Wii title in the top 10 list. Vita's hardware numbers are really low.
Koos commented on Review: Frogger: Hyper Arcade Edition (WiiWare):
Frogger gets on my nerves too quickly for me to enjoy it. I'll go all George constanza on it.
Koos commented on Michael Pachter Admits That Wii U Pro Controll...:
@TBD I must say that was remarkably cogent and astute. Thank you.
@Yogsoggoth yes but I would replace "maximize profits for investors" with "maximize profits for their own company through illegal insider trading tips" (this sometimes mean you say one thing and trade the opposite... market manipulation).
@youkoaoshi great analogy.
I can think of a lot of professions that hire thousands of people and don't do good like this that are pointless. Like analysts.
Lol what?!? There is a difference between an analyst recommending to invest in Enron and an an analyst recommending not to invest in nintendo (often he gives investment advice). Right. Yeah it'd like the difference between 2 exactly the same garbage collectors. I have no idea where you came up with that. Both talked about the business were in the business industry etc.. Lol. And that was hilarious LordOtakWiiU.
Having done a whole course about Enron I think i know what its about. The accountants are only a part. A major part. Management was another (he sits in jail right now). But only one piece of the scandal was the accountants . Oooops says you. http://www.forbes.com/2002/02/27/0227analysts.html
Btw there is a great theatre production highlighting also the analyst role. I recommend you see it one day.
You're that naive? What do you think the qualifications of market analysts are? There is mostly amateur speculation among analysts. Its worse than reviews. And there is also a serious amount of corruption and totally discredibality. See analysts role in the Enron saga. That's the prevalent nature of the field. Pachter is so off the wall most of the times who knows what will happen.
Koos commented on World of Goo Developers Returning With Little ...:
Wii U should have its own logo like the Penguin or the Windows. Maybe a small Mario or a small Link.
Koos commented on Zombi U Trailer Takes in the London Sights:
Best game ever
Koos commented on 3DS XL With Two Circle Pads Advertised by UK S...:
This special red 3ds XL is prevalent in many reports about the system . Pretty great...http://asia.cnet.com/nintendo-launches-3ds-xl-62216922.htm
Koos commented on Mass Effect 3 Extended Ending on Disc for Wii U:
Assassin Creed is.
Rjejr makes a good point. Its going to be so depressing if companies start use excuses and this could be one.
@happymask totally not true. People always say that to feel good about themselves. Same reaction in KH or MGS.... never true. Games can always be enjoyed.
No surprise from me 19Robb92. They can bring in comics for the choices or even include the originals as some kind of downliads. Or not. Its a video game. Think also about people who players one on pc or something else now they might switch for the extra control options
Koos commented on New Marvel Avengers Media Assembles:
Yeah its pretty weird in the film when new York is on the verge of Armageddon and Spiderman is Nowhere.
Koos commented on Michael Pachter: Activision Demanded Wii U Pro...:
"Hardcore gamers will buy them; hardcore Nintendo fanboys will buy it. " good news then.
Koos commented on Iwata Explains Lack of Second Circle Pad on th...:
A Second analogue stick is pointless and useless. The 3ds has better options like the gyro and the stylus. Nintendo added the CPP for MH and if it has uses for other games as an accessory good. Definitely should not be integrated to the system.
Koos commented on Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed 3DS Out 1...:
@hungry Baker how is better than Mario kart 7? Not even close.
Exactly I'm not a fan. I like the Golden Axe character though. And even ad a non fan I still can't get over the insanity in putting Sonic in a car. Ugh.
Koos commented on Nintendo Download: 12th July 2012 (North America):
I hope Nintendo continues with awesome updates where there is dsomething in every category every week
Koos commented on Angry Birds Trilogy to Cost $29.99:
Ironucally The free Chrome version of the game is actually the best version of the game because of the use if the mouse. While stylus is better than the imorecise capacitive touch obviously its still too much. If anything this should have been in the Wii for 500 points from the beginning and used the pointer.
Koos commented on Europe's Club Nintendo Gets Real-Life Mario Ka...:
Wow these would look awesome next to the Wii. Wish it was the NA platinum award I think I'll want these on eBay they're that cute.
The console version is 40 dollars so I guess this is practically a steal on second thought. Forget the bridge in Brooklyn. I have some blue sky to offer.
Lol awesome. I'd like to track whoever buys this crap. I have a bridge in Brooklyn to offer them.
Koos commented on Warren Spector Proud That Epic Mickey 'Polaris...:
And to clarify Zack & wiki is a great PUZZLE game. But epic Mickey's puzzles are running errands and I think the second won't abandon that.
@ PixelatedPixie . Thank you for emphasising the major problem of the game. Its not the platforming nor the camera. Its the running errands part. It feels like a game that was made for very small children before developers thought of how to make proper adventure games when there is real challenge. I feel the same way about Zack and wiki but that game is good more as a puzzle game that can be challenging. In here these parts are just completely for passing the time. I don't see what was the point to begin with and why he went there.
Because games have timing and Epic Mickey fitted the Wii controls and was at a good place. It was original and charming. Now it feels like a bastarized cash in. Like deblob 2.
I wish 3ds version will hit the eshop too... that looks like the better more interesting game I agree.
Probably will flop like deblob 2 did. Should have been a Wii U launch exclusive. I won't buy unless reviews are amazing or something.
Liked the first. Camera was good because you could control with the dpad actually but the pseudo childish Adventure parts where you fetched items to characters was terrible easy and tedious.
Koos commented on Feature: The Best Soundtracks on Wii:
Koos commented on Angry Birds Trilogy Takes Aim at 3DS:
If angry birds sell for the same price as Zelda it will have zero sales. All angry birds including Space were free for android..for a reason. Zelda... even the GBC game is expensive on 3ds and still a top seller. So yeah makes a lot of sense.
Outsell Zelda? Lol. I can't wait for m&Ms to outsell Fillet Mignons.
