KeeperBvK commented on Review: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (Wii U):

@theberrage With a scale of ten different scores to give, there are bound to be dozens of games getting the same score despite being somewhat better or worse than another. It's entirely impossible to reflect every difference in quality on an x/10 scale.

"Let's be honest here: wrestling is essentially one big television drama"

Um, no? Wrestling is essentially an age-old Olympic sport. It's sad most people nowadays associate it mostly with the WWE and such, and it doesn't help that you would open a review with such a statement.

Konami is also the worst developer/publisher when it comes to their soundtracks on youtube. It's hard to find any videos with Castlevania music that aren't blocked. Konami's just digging its own grave deeper and deeper with every news covering the company.

@BLPs As AJWolfTill said: Only a single person said anything about watching the video for Lydia. And he didn't even say it was because of her looks or anything. He just said, he watched the video, because of her. Why can't his reason be that he likes her personality, her video style, her wit, her knowledge or whatever. The only person derailing these comments into "horny teenager county" is you.

A great little puzzler, but how does this get a 9 when Tetrisphere got a 6? The latter has various modes and heaps of stages to play. There is content for weeks in there. Wetrix, though, is fine for an hour before it gets rather old. And you've already seen everything it offers within the first 20 minutes.

@Action51 Thanks for the good laugh. The first Mario Galaxy doesn't even hold a candle to Mario Sunshine or the second Galaxy, so how would it be better than Super Mario 64? And that doesn't have to do anything with nostalgia goggles or whatever (since I prefer Galaxy 2 A LOT over the first one). I feel it's childish whenever anybody dismisses praise for older games merely by saying "oh, you're all just being nostalgic. Luckily, I am able to remain objectively here. Why can't anybody else?"

@Damo If that can be changed easily, how about finally bringing back the DSiWare entry for 4 Elements and also creating one for Magical Diary? I know this doesn't belong into these comments, but I've been asking for weeks now without any form of reply. I'm trying to help the site with this, after all.

@ALEC_EIFFEL Nope, none of that makes the AI strong. It makes the enemies strong. AI is just the intelligence these enemies have...or rather not have. They just charge straight at you, which is no sign of strong intelligence.
However, I will say: How does that matter in such a game? Platformers and Castlevania games never had good AI and they surely don't need any. Bringing up this point in such a review seems completely arbitrary.

Just like in the Tetrisphere bit you're saying it's got "addictive gameplay", yet you give it only a 7?
If a game is addictive, then how can it be less than great, hence an 8? I don't get it.

"dull gameplay"? "Poor graphics"? "the worst version of Tetris"?
What is bizcuthammer on?

This is the best Tetris alongside Tetris Plus.

KeeperBvK commented on Nintendo 64x64: Tetrisphere:

"highly addictive", yet a 6/10? Oo
Seems pretty random.

I agree with the notion of it being addictive, so I'd easily give it an 8, if not more.

@ThomasBW84 What's up with you suddenly not doing separate game pages for titles released as both DSiWare and 3DS eshop games anymore? First 4 Elements, not that diary thing. It's confusing when other games do have separate entries for their releases here on NLife.

"At the time, a decent addition to the Star Wars franchise"

At the time it was an exceptionally great addition. Maybe today it can be perceived as a decent addition. But not at the time.

Also, more variety? Variety was one of its strongest points! What Star Wars game has more variety than this one?

I'm with Fandabidozi. The game's great.
But still: Shout out for covering it in this special. And I gotta admit: That robot boss in the labyrinth could be a bit of a pain.

KeeperBvK commented on Nintendo 64x64: Pokémon Stadium:

Man, this was a major letdown. In the end I spent most of my time just with the minigames and the sped up emulation of the GB-Pokemon games. The main game modes felt just bland and boring after you had digested how pretty everything admittedly looked.

KeeperBvK commented on Donkey Kong Land:

I absolutely hated this game. Everything just kind of blurred together so half the time you couldn't see what was coming ahead. Maybe on the 3DS this will be better, but on GB it was pretty much unplayable.

@Nintendo_Ninja The price is WAY too high with most games coming without their original boxes and manuals. Also, there are bound to be hundreds of sports games among all of those games. Nobody's going to be paying this much money for it when even individual purchases of each and every game on offer here would cost you less in the end.

So all we gotta do is buy less than 2 million copies of the next MH, RE and SF, to stop them from making ANY games from that point onwards? Now that is something I'd love to see.
"Oh, sorry, none of our franchises meets our criteria anymore. We'll just lay back and do nothing. Bye."

@Dazza thanks
But is it possible you mixed up the eshop and DSiWare releases of 4 Elements? Your text makes them seem like the exact same release, as do the links provided (to the review of the eshop version and to the game profile page or whatever you want to call that one ^^).
