KaiserGX commented on One Of The Most Successful Nintendo Games Of 2...:

@camerica1618 No one ever mentioned Brother Bear, Home on the Range, Chicken Little and Bolt. Though I'd put Frozen on the same list as those movies. Also I didn't really like Beauty and the Beast and I never rely on nostalgia. I used to watch the 80's TMNT as a kid but I know today that, the show sucked a lemon. Actually I think I even noticed it when I was watching it as a kid too. I don't care how good the soundtrack is or isn't, since it's entirely subjective but I think Frozen lacked a lot in story, and a lot of it kinda didn't make sense and wasn't very engaging. I was kinda bored from the start, and there kinda wasn't really a conflict or villain. The whole thing was just a misunderstanding.

"The Pac-Man character has fallen victim to something very similar to what Sonic the Hedgehog – we're looking you dead in the eye, Sonic Boom –"

No... the Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventure games are decent. They are not the broken mess Sonic Boom is. Though I prefer the original game on 3DS. This one is better than the first on Wii U.

This game is a lot better than the first one. There is an automatic camera now. There are underwater stages, new enemies that are fought differently like the sharks (using mechanics that were never in the first game). Pac-challenges for the powers. Better bosses. You can collect and find 3 fruit in every stage which increases the replay value by a lot, the scare mechanic is actually useful this time to get a gold medal on each stage by getting the high score. The controls and game in general is a lot more polished. Powers like Fire Pack have new attacks and you actually keep your power this time around and switch to your normal form whenever you want. The level design is a lot better. I say this game beats Pac-Man World 1 (not 2) This game does as much new as Mario Galaxy 2 did. Personally I wouldn't recommend the first game, now that this one is out. There's also some really epic music and environments later on. Although I prefer the original on 3DS (completely different game) but this time the sequel both the console and handheld versions are the same.

Everyone interested in this game watch this review. This shows you a bit better idea of what the game is really like.

KaiserGX commented on Review: Bit Boy!! ARCADE (3DS eShop):

It doesn't come off funny to me at all. I know he used to do let's plays of Bplus games and making fun of them, calling them terrible. I think it's just become an on-going joke that I never found funny to begin with (because I enjoyed those games, though Platchen was a bit hard for me to get into). I'm not saying he's still doing that, but given how this is the only review that I know of that gave it such a low score, when Nintendolife is always very generous, it doesn't really help my suspicion.

" you'll have to face other problems that run the gamut from puzzling design choices to outright broken programming." What broken programming? What does that even mean... he could be talking about anything. Why mention something like that and not talk about what it means?

It's like if I said a game I played had a bad menu system. What's bad about it? That's not really telling me much. Anyhow I really should stop coming back here. Don't want to start something again lol. I apologize again for my behavior.

Um... lol the guy from Nintendomination said this on Miiverse. I guess I wasn't the only one to notice this.

"hey manfr3d...that Nintendolife review was very unprofessional, bad and mean. I never expected something like that from them :/"

No offense to the actual review or their opinion on the game, but it still sounded like you were trying to bash the developer.

KaiserGX commented on Review: Bit Boy!! ARCADE (3DS eShop):

Sorry about that, when I said you liked Bit Boy I didn't realize it was the original one on Wiiware that you were talking about.

Also the shadow enemies have a red and purple color on each limb to show you which direction they are facing, which shows you which way is "right" when they move. You can change the camera to 3 different levels, as well as being able to change it with the circle pad. You don't NEED to use both. I've been only using the face buttons and I've been doing great. You just need to use both for a faster time. The type of walls you can be climb are all square pits in the middle of the levels (like Erik said) which are clearly different from any other type of wall.

Anyways I just realized who you were on Miiverse. Sorry to give you "flack" if that's even a word. It's ok to have different opinions but the review sounded really... catty as one of my friends described. I saw the glitch you posted on Miiverse. Haven't run into that. Though besides that, it seems some of the problems you are having, was just not knowing. Like the color scheme on the enemies. They are clearly there to show you which direction they are facing but you didn't notice that. Anyhow like I said I ain't here to troll. Just got a bit... steamed is all. It just seems this is the only review that gave it a really low and unreasonable score... when Nintendo Life is usually fairly generous. Sorry for that. There's nothing wrong with that, just took it kinda personal.

KaiserGX commented on Review: Bit Boy!! ARCADE (3DS eShop):

I've been lurking around here for a while since this review was posted. I used to post here often, as some people may remember me. I decided to stop coming because the community started getting bad. I finally have to come and say something since Erixsan did. There are a lot of problems with the review, such as all the false information. I also have never ran into any glitches. There was some unnecessary bashing like criticizing the design of the PixelFlies and insulting the programming skills of the developer.

Here are 3 other reviews that give an 8, 8.5, and two 9's. People seem to be enjoying the game on Miiverse, I know I have.

I'm sorry but this review almost SOUNDS like it's trying so hard to call this a terrible game. I know someone on here, has a beef with Bplus or something like that. Also Philip I think you also told the developer how much you were enjoying the game... you liked their page and posts. So what's going on here? Are you still running that unfunny bit on hating on Bplus games?

Sorry if I went overboard but I can't sit here seeing people bash the game, not even giving it a chance because of this review. The game is great and the developer has put a lot of time, care and love into it. I just want to see it be a bit successful. There are many other people on the Miiverse community for this game that think this review is overly harsh. Edit or delete my comment if you want, suspend me or ban me permanently. I've been a door mat for a long time, it's time I start stepping up sometimes when I think something is wrong. At least I said something today. Thank you and good day. (Don't bother replying because I'm not coming back) I don't mean to insult anyone or troll.

KaiserGX commented on Talking Point: F-Zero GX HD Could Boost the Fr...:

I'm gonna go ahead and say this now. I think F-Zero is overrated. I enjoyed the SNES version, the 64 one was ok. I think this is an Earthbound effect. Just because we haven't had anything F-Zero released in a while, everyone's all whoop whoop. Same with Star Fox.

The Marvel Pinballs are weak. They made to many of them a lot of them kinda feel like the same board. I can say The Empire Strikes Back alone is worth the price. One of the best boards!

KaiserGX commented on Injustice: Gods Among Us Update Sneaks Out of ...:

The thing is on Facebook I always see people demanding certain skins and characters. As DC has a HUGE history of characters and designs for them, a lot want to see their favorites on there. (Though I could care less about the actual skins as I thought the default ones are good).

Though for the more substantial content you as asking for... I don't see what else they can add. The characters already come with a Classic mode Ending. There's already pretty good sized campaign and dozens of missions that I still haven't even beat (I don't think they would want more missions as a lot of these are actually really hard and frustrating and you get something for getting 3 stars on all of them). There's also plenty of variations to the modes in the Battles mode. Mostly post launch with these kind of games. people will just stick with the multiplayer. As for fighters this is usually the main event. This is why the characters (and to some the skins) add a lot more value.

There was a season pass long ago though that was 15 dollars that got you the 4 characters and 3 Flashpoint skins.

KaiserGX commented on Injustice: Gods Among Us Update Sneaks Out of ...:

Download the skins and characters you want. You don't HAVE to buy anything there. $63 dollars is a lot but I didn't buy all of it or plan to. I bought Injustice for 60 bucks and got my enjoyment out of it. For another $5 I can extend it's already vast replay value. I chose to throw down the $20 to extend my enjoyment out of a game I already enjoy immensely.

I ask myself if I am willing to pay this for said item. Not going around and see what else I can buy for less. I've been closely contacting NeatherRealm Studios since they showed the trailer at E3. They barely started working on Lobo's engine two weeks before the game went Gold. You can't complete much in those two weeks because the game needs so much bug-testing in the last couple months before the game is released. Though I will say some of those skins were already being worked on as well as the Red Son missions.

What's an animator to do when their work is done? Just go home? No they made them stay and work, make new skins and such.

KaiserGX commented on Injustice: Gods Among Us Update Sneaks Out of ...:

Do you know what works actually goes into making a character? They are not essentially skins. They are character models, animations, programming for the moves, hit detection, testing for balance, voices ect. These characters might have been in development before the it was finished but they were not ready to go.

Second to fighting game fans new characters are new content, it means more stuff to learn and use. One character can give you weeks of use and entertainment.

I know they certainly brought me back to playing the game, with Scorpion on Zod I got something new to experience. Where's a Skin is just a Skin.

It's always up to you to decide to buy or not. The game has loads of content and is in no way incomplete. The skins and characters are just add-on to that. Which of, some were given for free with each comparability pack.

I know there's another 4 DLC characters coming, and I think that will be the last. As with those last 4 the character select will be balanced. Those 4 have a high chance of being Martian Manhunter, Powergirl, Red Hood and Sub Zero.

KaiserGX commented on Pachter: Without Third Party Support Nintendo ...:

Why is it bad to own one console though? I know what I like to play and I like Nintendo. Inb4 I am missing out. Everyone is missing out on a lot of things, can't expect one person to do everything. Best most people here never went deep sea diving. I am happy just owning a Wii U. There's a 360 here but I don't have any interest in it except for stuff like Pacman Championship and the Simpsons Arcade Game, my friend just left it here because there's no room for it at his house.

KaiserGX commented on Nintendo - Inclusion of Peach in Super Mario 3...:

They haven't done much because the reason he was created was to be a counterpart for Luigi in the sports games. (Wario, Daisy, Waluigi). He does look like Dick Dastardly but as long as he is with Wario he's going to be stuck under his shadow like Luigi was to Mario. They don't even use Waluigi in the Warioware series. There's no need for him or Daisy at this time. (Nintendo response) Lol

See there we go, you just want characters because they are not Mario. That's what basically everyone is saying now. That's all I wanted to hear from you. My mission is done here :) I revealed your intentions. disappears over to Animal Crossing thread

KaiserGX commented on Nintendo - Inclusion of Peach in Super Mario 3...:

DDR wasn't a main Mario game and Waluigi was not the main Villian. That was Bowser. Though he was the first one to steal the music keys. Birdo was a character in Captain Rainbow yes but not a boss... You had to... to something for him/her... lol. I don't think Birdo has been a boss since Superstar Saga.

KaiserGX commented on Zelda Series Timeline Wasn't Planned From the ...:

It just wasn't all planned on a sheet of paper when the first Zelda was made. Though I think this article takes it out of context that the whole timeline was just put together. Zelda 2 was a sequel to Zelda. Link to the Past was a prequel to both. Then came Ocarina of Time which went even further back. There is a timeline.

Of course he was talking about the first game. They didn't have this whole thing planned that different stuff happened before the first Zelda (Skyward Sword, Mini Cap ect. (besides the story that was in the manual). It was slowly added as games were released. Every game after Zelda has been a sequel or a prequel mentioning the events of the other games. Though this is the case for most games with sequels that sell well and are not something like Star Wars.

@Zombie I ain't talking to you... I saw you mention my name so I got curious. I didn't even read your message past "Nobody said anything about...". I was talking about people in general. I stayed around to defend @NMH. Like I said I ain't here to argue I just posted and left it at that. When I talk to you directly I will put the @ like i did just now. For future reference I ignore most posts people direct at me, because usually they think I am being serious. I mostly post something once and leave or just post something for lolz. I don't hang around here much as I used to. I do reply to question about games though, that people may have. Today I came for Animal Crossing New Leaf though I got sidetracked a bit. That's why I was here around when Injustice was out as I had been heavily researching everything about the game. Sorry if this post is long and off topic. Also it's not personal, please don't think that.

I don't know how others see celebrities but to me they are just normal people who just happen to be more publicly known. I don't expect them to be perfect dietys that we look up to. All that attention is also very stressful.

You peeps are too soft. If Reggie tells me to **** off in public after I threw a hamburger at his shirt I am not gonna blame Nintendo or anything. Man Reggie you work at Nintendo, everything you do in and out of work represents the company. You eating pizza with a fork? Nintendo is so unprofessional.
