They should really consider rewarding the day 1 consumers some freebies like the 3DS Ambassadors thing. I've not seen anything I want to play on Wii U for months ... Now the loyal fans who bought it early are getting stiffed again.10 GameCube games would just about suffice!!!

Loved altered beast ... At the time when it came bundled with my MD! Realise now its absolute pants. Slow as sludge with a 2 frame walk/punch and the oddest kick move ever committed to pixel!!!

No reason to trudge through this yin again!! Game was brilliant . . . on the zenobia! Really felt like survival horror again - UNTIL you start playing the crappy resi 6 style action levels in the offices and the ice station with those 2 dorks! Half of a good game that could been great!!

Can't pretend I'm not disappointed! Even the Wii got a little more effort from EA! Would've defo picked this up. Another one in the eye for my new console! Konami could clean up with PES ..... Hopefully.

Ah, the BIG ONE!!! Super Metroid is in my top 5 games of all time (might even be my no. 1!!!) The intro, the upgrades, Ridley, that pesky infuriating quadruple wall jump!! Absolute classic!! Got it on SNES, Wii and my Nexus 7. Might have to just get it on Wii U for the hell of it!!! Resi Rev remake defo not on the agenda. ONM gave it a terribly tepid review. Finished it on 3ds - loved the Zenobia survival horror/hated the sell-out action parts in the offices and bits with those 2 dorks! I'll sample the demo but not holding out much hope!

Not a fan but its a huge franchise and the lack of support for Wii U is one blow after another.

Hope there's some good news soon. Wii U really underused. Not turned on at all by Pikmin, Resi Rev, Wonderful 101 or Windwaker remake. Where are the BIG, SERIOUS games. ... And I don't just mean Zelda/Mario! We need games like Last of Us and Beyond: Two Souls ... You know, current gen system shifters. If only we had that much needed interest and support.

Meh. Nes games should not be over £0.50. (Current, "brand new" android apps set u back a reasonable £0.69!) SNES ... Maybe £2 is bout right. They should not be charging extra for the "effort" to transfer it to gamepad.!!! My Nexus 7 (or my modded Wii/Wii U) can emulate SNES/genesis/GBA perfectly while using Wii classic controller .... WITHOUT having to be 5m away! There's no competition! I'm not one to champion piracy but Nintendo seriously need to rethink the pricing strategy. Paying £5 for a 20 yr old game simply isn't value in the current economical climate!

I play with the controller pro while using the gamepad as a monitor. Find that much easier than on my 50" plasma for some unknown reason!!

Really don't understand the confusion here. . . maybe old grannies who loved Wii sports might get their Wiis in a muddle but the rest of us should've been able to manage. Print "Wii U - New console from Nintendo" on a magazine cover .... And That's it!!! Where's the confusion??? ...... Its called "Wii U" and its a "new console" from "Nintendo"!!!

I do feel for good games dev's who put in a real effort to make a quality product. What I can't stand is greedy companies that release half baked, broken and buggy games and slap a £40 price tag on it in a cynical attempt to dupe kids and parents. They know their games are rotten when released and still charge top dollar! .... To me, that's an even bigger crime than piracy!! If its broken .... Stop wasting everyones time and money and Don't release it !!!

Please .... No more sonic. Did like Sonic 1+2 when I was 12 but they haven't aged well and I think, looking back now, they were pretty much overrated. I could still play Mario World which is timeless but Sonic hasn't aged quite so gracefully!! bores me after playing it for 5 mins!!!

My nexus 7 plays any old console game I want perfectly. . . in any part of my house (my Wii u can't even connect to control pad if its 5 metres away in the next room with doors open!!!) GameCube titles would be only reason I would use VC.

Probably wise although I'm disappointed. Maybe they don't have any big reveals. Anything they show would pale in comparison to the hype surrounding new Microsoft and Sony consoles anyway. Trying (and failing) to compete with that could be embarrassing anyway.

Please .... No!!! No more multiplayer. . . . my 2 most anticipated games this year, GoW Ascension and Dead Space 3 have been such a disappointment and ruined due to, u guessed it, tacked on multiplayer. Why spend money and resources to include multiplayer if the campaign isn't spot on. Both campaigns pale in comparison to their previous games which is really unacceptable. Personally I would've hated playing the arkham games in multiplayer!!

Super Metroid is way to low. Its easily a top 2 game and really is timeless, as is ALttP. Really is as fresh today as it was years ago. Can't believe it got trumped by F-Zero, 2 Donkey Kings, Star Fox!!??!!

What a yawn fest! If that's the cream of the Mega drive its purdy lame. Still have my mega drive and find it so hard to get excited or even reminisce about it. Sonic was completely overrated and pales in comparison to Mario World. Main prob is, I guess, there was nothing on MD that could grab you the way SNES games did. Major and sometimes emotional experiences from games like Zelda: ALTtP, Super Metroid, Mario Kart, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound for eg couldn't be touched as far as I'm concerned. Still have fond memories from Golden Axe, Revenge of Shinobi and Streets of Rage etc but nothing that makes me warm and gooey the way the SNES did.

Yawn. My Wii can do all of that almost perfectly.

Trust ninty. Was most looking forward to 3 games this year. . . Dead Space 3, God of War Ascension and Luigi's Mansion 2. Dead Space 3/Ascension ..... So disappointed!!! I just knew Luigi's Mansion was gonna deliver in spades!! Screw EA and Sony with your Hollywood production and budgets. This is how you do it right!!

Might be the truth no one wants to hear. My Wii u has been gathering dust after playing for about a month. None of the upcoming games excite me at all. Already have the 3rd party ports on ps3. New Zelda (not the pointless Windwaker remake) and MKart might keep me hanging on and hopefully a new Metroid.

Loved my mega drive. Great games like Revenge of Shinobi, Castle of Illusion, Star Control, Golden Axe, Quackshot. Totally eclipsed by the SNES unfortunately. Always thought Sonic was totally over rated. Mario World hasn't aged a day and still plays great but can't play Sonic more than 5 mins without getting bored. Mario kart, Zelda and Super Metroid (and many others) were games that the Mega drive just couldn't come close to equalling. . . because of this I find it harder to think as fondly of the MD compared to my SNES. Both great but my heart still belongs to Ninty!!

Looks good but still hate those random Lego chips littering every bloody screen. The thought of having to collect those in every area of the game bores me to tears. Hated it in previous Lego games and hate it more in this. You don't see that crap in GTA!!!

What a game! Part sci fi, biology lesson, political conspiracy, cross species relationship, hovercraft racer, photography course and air hockey mish mash and it all works sensationally. Not many games like this at all. Uncovering the secrets as the story unfolds is incredible and the relationship with Pey'j is very touching. Part 2???? Oh yes please!!!

Still the greatest. Whiling away the time in Super Mario World, Hyrule and Zebes. This was when we had 4 TV channels, cartoons were only on after school or Saturday morn and gaming was simple, sweet and innocent. A time before trophies, kill streaks, win streaks and all that online nonsense. The ultimate in multiplayer was a Sunday 'noon Mario Kart marathon on battle mode course 4 or Mana or Super bomberman with a multitap! So glad I witnessed those days before the joy got sucked out of it and where the "1" game you were playing at the time could suck you into a new world! Only time I've felt anything like that since is when playing Journey. Long live the SNES!!!

As soon I see those stupid random Lego bits lying everywhere I get bored. What could be more boring than running round collecting Randomly placed Lego chips. !? Other than that it looks good.

This was obsolete before it even arrived in Canada. D.O.A! The Wii wasn't exactly a monster under the tele and u can buy em for 30 quid second hand. Now they release this pants with no backwards compatibility AND NO ONLINE???!!! Another Completely baffling decision. If this was the prototype for the original Wii 6 years ago it would've been considered unacceptable and binned. You dont see Sony releasing their new, sleek, blue, thin PS3 without online functionality!!

Don't know why they would even contemplate releasing this now. Its so bad on ps3 its embarrassing and all they're gonna get is another well deserved slagging. Wish devs would get some integrity and commit to play testing and quality control, if its crap - don't release it. . . failing that, release it for a tenner, which is approx 7 pounds more than I'd pay for it!! Waste of time!

This game is rotten. No amount of tweaking or patches could salvage this reeking, festering filth! Only way would be to redesign it from the ground up... But they won't. Well get the same 3rd rate version later than other consoles, with an inflated price tag. Cheers lads!

Original was crap... I know, let's make another game that's even worse than 1st and fleece people £50 for the privilege of playing it. Companies and devs like this deserve to fail. Get some integrity and introduce play testing and quality control, otherwise - what's the point??

Meh. Don't think they should mess with this one. If anything the HD stills I've seen so far remove all the character the original had. They should just put original on vc. If there gonna actually "remake" it, it might just be interesting. The Ocarina 3d remake wasn't actually a remake. Was Exactly the same game except for a new inventory screen (wow) and an extra tent at highrule town. They didn't even fix the dreadful pop up from the n64 version. Hope they totally redo this one the way a remake should be done, new levels, characters, maybe a surprise new item, change the dull voyages. . . but i got a sinking feeling its just gonna be Wind Waker v1.1

Never liked tomb raider anyway. That's what I've been worried about though - we've been brought up to date technology wise and were still not getting any proper third party support. Where's the Dead Space 3s or BioShock Infinites??

I wouldnt play it with an analogue stick either. Pro controller has a very nice d-pad 2. Find it Really odd and unacceptable that I bought a nice new ninty controller that I can't use for Mario.

Thank god controller pro support included. Nope ninety take note and allow a Mario u pro cont update too. Its exclusion was baffling!!!

Yawn. Yoshis epic yarn appeals to me cause loved playing Kirby with my niece. Zelda Windwaker 'remake'??? ....pointless!!! In fact, the hd version seems to have lost all the character of the original. Fed up with remakes. Want to see a realistic 'new' Zelda like the hd teaser where Link fought the giant spider. Xenoblade looked good until those numbers continually flashed over screen. Hate stupid hit point games. Wish we could go back to plain old enemy energy bars. 101 looks like weird, quirky japanese nonsense. Still, Mario kart and a galaxy type game (where was the preview reel for these 2) might be enough to hang on for. . . il probably be blowing the dust off my wii u ..... 2 years from now.

Played it few times. Single player is pants... Time trials in games have never appealed to me. Multiplayer didn't grab me by the bollards either. Pretty bland game. Nice distinctive art though. Hope the Cave is good. Reviews haven't been very reassuring though. Like the idea of the different characters with special powers. Fingers crossed.

Irrelevant if you've already played it on 3ds. Unless they set it soley on the zenobia and get rid of the boring action sections with those 2 goofballs. Really brought the experience down. Still, at least they've not threatened to port Resi 6 over. . . every cloud .....
